Wednesday and her friends sat in the hospital by Enid's bed side, seeing the machines hooked up to her made Wednesday even angrier, the damn asshole went after Enid because she talked about the stalker and the threat to Xavier. This was not good, not good at all. People around Wednesday were either getting hurt or threatened and the worst part is, she just brought others into the mix which made this all worse. Xavier happened to walk in at this exact moment having been in therapy during Enid's attack.
"How is she doing?" Xavier asked.
"She's in a coma, how do you think she's doing?" Wednesday snapped back.
"Wednesday-" Wednesday cut off Xavier.
"No! This is the second person that I've put in a coma... The first was Eugene and now Enid, all because this stalker of mine is such an asshole, and I don't know who they are."
"Then we find out who it is Wednesday, this time you're not alone, you have everyone here." Xavier pointed to everyone who all nodded.
"And look at where we're at Xavier... Enid is in a coma because she told you about my message, a message I was more than happy to never share to you." Wednesday clarified.
"I know this but Wednesday this is how things work, you cannot protect people from something when they don't know what they need protection from." Xavier pointed out. Wednesday had to admit that he was not wrong, how was anyone close to her supposed to know the danger when no one knew what was happening? All Wednesday knew was that whoever did this was going to pay for all of this.
"So where do we start?" Wednesday asked. They needed a plan and a plan fast.
...
The dorm room was shockingly lonely without Enid there, it was not like when the two had their fight last term and Enid went to room with Yoko for a little bit but then they made up and now they were roommates again and now Enid was in the hospital. No one was allowed to stay due to visiting hours and none of them being family but Wednesday had left Thing with Enid to look after her and keep an eye (or in this case a hand) on anything around him. Make sure whoever this stalker was didn't show their face anywhere near Enid. Wednesday was so annoyed that she barely heard her window opening until she turned around and held her dagger to the intruder's throat only to see it was Xavier who held his hands in surrender.
"It's just me." He reassured her.
"What the hell?! I could have slit your throat." Wednesday took the knife from Xavier's throat with disappointment, oh how she hoped it was her stalker.
"Glad to know you're just as on edge as the rest of us." Xavier half teased but was also serious.
"I've always been on edge, my entire life." Wednesday commented as she went over to her closet to find herself some pajamas to wear that night.
"I suppose that's true." Xavier agreed.
"What brings you here?" Wednesday asked as she finally found something adequate to wear that night as she closed the closet door and got dressed inside.
"Well, I decided to come check on you and since we both don't have roommates right now with Enid being in the hospital and me just getting the luck of the draw... Plus I didn't want the stalker to come in my room once more when I was sleeping." Xavier confessed.
"So, you came to your girlfriend's dorm room to sleep for the time being?" Wednesday opened the closet and stepped out now fully dressed for bed, wearing a simple silk black pair of pajama pants and a black t-shirt that had a W on it.
Xavier smirked a bit. "I didn't know I had a girlfriend; I know I went on this date with this amazing girl the other night but didn't know there was now a label." Xavier teased.
"I don't normally like labels but when it comes to you... they don't sound terrible." Wednesday commented.
"Yeah." Xavier stepped closer to her. "So, we're dating? I can officially be your boyfriend?" Xavier had that hopeful smile grace his face.
"If you want too." Wednesday said.
"Uh! Duh!" Xavier walked over to Wednesday and hugged her, and she slowly did it back before she pulled back, getting exhausted from the affection.
"Want to share my bed or do you want Enid's?" Wednesday asked.
"Yours, Enid's side freaks me out." It was those damn stuffed animals; she had warned Enid about those hideous things.
"Don't blame you." Wednesday pulled back the covers as her and Xavier slipped in and the two laid on their backs looking at the ceiling.
"Wednesday?"
"Yes?"
"Can I put my arm around you?"
"Like cuddling?" People still did that.
"Yes."
"I'll try it but if I don't like it, you will move your arm or lose a limb." Wednesday clarified and he nodded as he chuckled and flipped to his side as did Wednesday, the two looking at one another as Xavier had his arm wrapped around her and Wednesday got a little closer. Their noses practically touching one another as Xavier placed a small but sweet kiss on her nose as Wednesday cracked a small grin before it was off her face the next minute.
"Are you afraid?"
"No, but for everyone else... I am not feeling well about it." She confessed.
"Well, I am here with you Wednesday, I am not leaving." He responded.
"Good, I don't want you to leave." Wednesday said as she nuzzled into his neck, anyone who seen this would think Wednesday Addams had gone soft but behind closed doors with Xavier... she knew that this would not be talked about with anyone else. Xavier had her trust.
