Ally's Pov:
Sneaking back into Axel's room, I find him already fast asleep in bed, with one arm covering his face and the other lazily hanging off the side of the bed.
I have to fight the urge not to giggle as I crawl back in bed next to him, trying to keep a respectful distance between us.
Even though there clearly wasn't any distance before...
I do my best to fall back asleep, even if it was difficult to do so with my heart hammering in my chest.
I was able to catch up on a bit more sleep until I felt the bed move, and the sound of Axel moving around the room.
I could tell he was trying to be as quiet as he could, but he was a big guy, and I'm sure no matter how hard he tried, it was nearly impossible to be silent.
After I hear the door shut after him, I drift back off to sleep.
The next time I am awoken, it's to the sound of the door opening, and I peek one eye open to see Claire coming into the bedroom with a sly grin on her face as she takes in the sight before her.
"Don't even say it." I turn my back towards her, already predicting the inappropriate thoughts that were coursing through her dirty mind.
I feel the bed sink as she sits at the edge near my feet while patting my thigh through the blanket, "Did my favorite roomie get a well-rested sleep? Or was she up being naughty?"
I turn towards her with a glare, "you would like that, wouldn't you?"
"Me? Wanting my best friend to get some action with one of the most attractive guys on this campus?? Pssssh." She teases, giving me a wink.
I blush, "Nothing happened, I'll have you know."
She shakes her head, but the teasing grin stays on her face as she stands, "Next time, then."
I disregard her comment as I ask, "Is Zoe still asleep?"
Out of the four of us, Zoe is the one who we usually end up waiting for when it's time to get breakfast. She's a woman who clearly enjoys her sleep, that's for sure.
"She is, I was thinking of just playing on my phone for a while before waking her up. The other two guys are still sleeping, and I'm sure they won't be up for a while."
"It was nice of Dylan to give you two blankets. I saw his lack of them when I walked past his room to use the bathroom."
For a second, I swear I see the tiniest of blushes cover her cheeks as she turns away from me, trying to act like she was merely just looking out towards the hallway.
"He insisted that we would freeze without them, but you're right, it was kind of him to do that." Even though it sounded as if she would rather cut off her own tongue than admit to Dylan that he is indeed a pretty nice guy, I know she appreciates it nonetheless.
She pats my thigh again, "I'll let you get some more rest before Zoe gets up. I let Sophia know that we crashed here last night so she wouldn't worry about our disappearance."
My stomach turns in guilt as she tells me that. I didn't even think to tell Sophia that we wouldn't be back, it happened so quickly.
I'm glad Claire remembered to do so, because I would have felt awful if we kept her up, worried.
"Okay, wake me up when it's time to go." Claire nods her head at me before turning back towards the living room.
I toss in turn for a bit before realizing I probably won't be able to get any more sleep.
