Axel's pov:
My foot taps on the ground impatiently as I glance at my phone for what must have been the thousandth time in the last hour.
I was waiting on an update from Ally about her roommate situation.
I wanted to be there for her incase her talk goes wrong.
Which pretty much sums up how incredibly whipped I am for this girl.
Here I am, laying on my couch waiting for a text I might not get while my roommates go about their day.
Not like there's anything else I'd rather be doing though, then waiting for a text from my girl.
The sound of the front door opening startles me a bit, but I can't find the energy to sit up and see who it is.
I listen to the sound of their steps before Tanner and his girlfriend, Stevie, are making their way around the couch to see me.
They share curious looks on their faces at the state I'm in, which was a mix between worried and tired.
"Is everything alright?" Tanner asks carefully, crossing his arms across his chest as he looks down at me.
I understand why they are so thrown off by the sight of me like this. I've always been the cool and collected one who normally doesn't get bothered by shit.
But yet here I am, clearly bothered.
"I'm all good. No problem here." I say, acting like everything was fine.
I was not fine though, and Stevie and Tanner clearly didn't believe my words either because they take a seat on the opposite couch and watch me like two concerned parents.
"Are you sure you don't want to talk about it?" Stevie asks, not bothering to mention how they didn't believe a word I said.
I stay silent for a minute, collecting my thoughts before saying, "I'm just worried about Ally. She's been having some stuff going on with her friends."
I didn't want to reveal Ally's business to Tanner and Stevie, even though I knew they wouldn't say a thing.
If there was anyone I had to trust to keep a secret, it would be them.
But it wasn't my place to share such personal information, so I keep my mouth shut as the two of them take in my words.
"We've actually been meaning to ask you about that." Stevie says, causing me to sit up a bit in my seat.
"Yeah, what's been going on with you two? Have you asked her to be your girlfriend yet?" Tanner asks.
Tanner and Stevie, being the most responsible of us, didn't want to skip their classes to join us for lunch. So they've been a bit out of the loop when it came to Ally and I.
"Not yet, but I really want to. Soon." I say, even though the thought scares me half to death.
It's been so long since I asked a girl on a date, and there's a lot more pressure now that I'm asking a girl like ALLY on a date.
She's not just some girl I have a crush on, she's so much more than that.
I'm head over heels, falling for this woman.
"Awww, that's so cute." Stevie gushes, clapping happily from my words.
Stevie has expressed many, many times since meeting Ally that she's the perfect girl for me.
For these past few years, Stevie has been saying how tiring it is to be only one of two girls hanging out around the apartment.
Not only that, but Stevie also can't stand Morgan. She said she needs a friend that she can actually communicate with without wanting to rip her hair out.
