Ally's Pov:

We end up sitting there on the floor of my room for a while in silence. I told Axel that he didn't have to stay and could head home since it was starting to get late, but he refused, saying he would wait until at least Claire gets back.

He didn't admit this, but I could tell that he was a little spooked by how easy it was for someone to break into our room. I just know in that head of his that he is coming up with multiple scenarios as to if he wasn't here to stop Ben in time from hurting someone.

I can't blame him though, because I too have been doing the same.

Our door had been fixed as we were waiting for Claire to come back. I'm glad that it didn't take long to get it fixed, because I'm not sure how much longer I could take the curious stares of students looking into our room.

It was nice to finally have that privacy, and I will never take my door for granted ever again.

As we were waiting, I finally convinced Axel to look at his phone and to respond to his roommates texts. The sound of his phone constantly ringing was starting to drive Zoe and I nuts.

I also gave Zoe the run down that Axel knows everything now, and just like Claire and Zoe said, he wasn't mad about me keeping my previous life back at home from him.

Thank goodness.

It just sucks though that he had to hear it from Morgan and not from me in the first place.

Just as Axel finishes filling Tanner in on everything that had happened, the door opens, and Claire finally appears.

She pauses when she sees the three of us sitting on the floor, and a questionable look crosses her face as she takes in our tired expressions.

"What did I miss?" She asks, taking slow steps toward us.

She seemed like she was in a lot better mood than when she stormed off after the fight all those hours ago.

I wince, knowing that what we are about to tell her is going to erase that mood.

"A lot." I sigh, leaning back on my bed.

Axel puts a hand on my thigh to comfort me, and I swear if I wasn't so stressed out by all that had happened today, I would be enjoying his touch a lot more.

Claire cross-cross apple sauce's right in front of us, and I turn towards Zoe to signal her to start.

And I swear, I've never seen Claire so pissed off before once Zoe starts going into detail about what had happened.

She curses out the fact that she wasn't here to stop Ben, and is completely convinced she could have taken him down single handedly if she was here.

I told her not to feel bad, because thankfully Axel was here to stop him. I know I should take my own advice, because I too am struggling to comprehend the fact that I wasn't here as well.

I just have to remind myself that what is done is done, and thankfully no one had gotten hurt.

Except Ben, of course.

Which was rightfully deserved.

The topic of conversation switched to Sophia, as to how we are going to go about this with her. That is when Axel stands up to leave, letting us girls talk with each other to sort things out.

I appreciate him for that, and as he was leaving, I made sure to sneak in a kiss or two out in the hallway as a thank you.

When I enter back in the room, Claire and Zoe give me looks, sharing that they knew exactly what was happening behind the closed door, and I wasn't as sneaky as I thought I was.
