Axel's pov:
I'm not jealous.
I'm not jealous.
I'm not jealous-...
"She texted me and not you~..." Dylan sings as he dances around the kitchen with the same stupid grin that's been on his face for the past ten minutes.
"It's not that big of a deal." I cross my arms over my chest, watching him from the living room.
A few hours ago, Ally texted Dylan that her, Zoe, and Claire will be going out with us tonight.
Not that I would admit this to anyone, but I've been waiting for her response ever since that dinner and hoped it would be 'yes.'
It's not that I'm jealous that she texted Dylan instead of me...
Okay maybe a little...
But it doesn't help that Dylan has been rubbing it in my face for the past ten minutes.
I told him she was probably just being nice since he was the one that invited them to go out.
But he said that it was because she liked him more than me.
I doubt that he's right, I'm better.
So much better.
"What's this all about?" Bryce walks in with a towel wrapped around his waist, and of course Bryce being Bryce, it was the smallest towel that one could possibly own.
"Dude." I say, looking in the opposite direction.
Bryce has the tendency to walk around in the most minimum amount of clothing a guy could possibly wear. I've seen him butt-ass naked way too many times these past three years of living together.
"I got a text from Axel's girlfriend~..."
I roll my eyes as Bryce looks over at me with a shit-eating grin, "That's my guy! About time!" He holds his hand out for a fist-bump, to which I completely ignore.
"She's not my girlfriend." But it didn't matter how many times I said it, Dylan didn't care to listen.
"They're practically dating," Dylan says while shrugging his shoulders.
He's been like this ever since we got back from dinner with Ally and her friends a few days ago. I'm surprised he didn't spill the beans to Bryce and Tanner sooner.
"Actually, Morgan said something earlier about how there's been rumors that my best friend was courting a girl. I didn't believe her." Bryce says as he continues to look at me questionably.
Morgan is Bryce's girlfriend, and they've been dating for almost a year now. She alright, but I'm not the biggest fan of her friend group. They've showed up at our house way more times than I would have liked, and the one doesn't understand that I'm not interested.
We don't consider our house to be a party house. We've thrown some parties before, but it was invite only.
The one main thing the four of us agreed on is that we don't want random people up in our business. It's easier to just go out, party, and come back to a nice, clean, quiet house.
"I wouldn't say courting..." I say, turning towards Bryce.
Courting means that I'm trying to get her to fall in love with me or something...
I mean yeah, I think Ally's pretty cool, smart, and gorgeous as hell...
But it's her first year here, and I just want her to have a good time.
"Yeah, who even says the word courting." Dylan says, shoving a piece of left-over pizza into his mouth.
We ignore him.
