Ally's pov:
We didn't get much sleep last night...
And it's NOT what you think!!!
It was a completely, innocent sleepover...
...For the most part.
Axel and I ended up staying awake way past our bedtime, talking and sharing stories until we passed out on each other at what must have been nearly 4 O'clock in the morning.
It wasn't until hours later, where I woke up snuggled against Axel in his bed, did I realize he must have moved us from the couch to the bed.
Now, it was just a little past ten, and the sounds of pots and pans from the kitchen had woken us up from our sleep.
I knew I would be exhausted later today, and I didn't even care. I think last night was the best night of my life.
Axel and I confessed our feelings toward one another...
We kissed...
A lot.
And we were able to grow so much more comfortable with each another, knowing that there weren't any more boundaries between us.
Granted, we haven't talked about any sort of labels yet. I mean, of course I want to be his girlfriend, but I don't feel the need to rush into anything yet.
We took a big step last night, and I wouldn't mind just taking things day by day.
Gosh, I can't wait to tell my friends.
Claire, Zoe, Sophia...
My friends back home...
They will surely freak out.
But then my mind drifts to my parents, which gives me more of a sinking feeling.
My Mom, for the most part, can be pretty strict. I don't know what I would do if she didn't like Axel.
But that's a worry for another day.
I listen to the sound of pots and pans for a bit, trying to figure out what was being made.
Axel said that it must have been Tanner and his girlfriend, Stevie, because there is no way Bryce, Morgan, or Dylan would be up this early in the morning after a night out.
Apparently, when Axel had woken up to carry me back to his room, Bryce and Morgan were just walking in. From what Axel gathered, they must have gone somewhere else for a couple hours before returning so early in the morning.
We listen to the sound of small chatter from the kitchen as we continue to take in the short amount of peace that we have now until the whole house awakes.
So, we stay in bed and lazily cuddle for another hour or so, until we begin to hear more noises as the others begin to awake as well.
"Should we go out and join them?" I find myself asking Axel.
He hums in response, and I can't help but laugh at his clear disdain for getting up.
"No?" I answer for him, watching as he nods his head in response.
"Let's just stay here for the rest of the day." Axel says, pushing my shoulders back down onto the mattress when I began to lean up.
"As much as I would love that, I've got homework. And not only that, but I'm sure if I don't get back sometime today, there is a high chance that Claire and Zoe will show up on the front doorstep." I say, attempting to sit up for a second time.
He pulls me back down.
"What homework do you have?" he asks, resting the side of his face on the palm of his hand as he stares down at me.
