Ally's pov:

After Axel finishes making me a grilled cheese that INCLUDED cheese this time, we move to sit in the living room.

It was only a little past midnight now, and Axel said he didn't expect the boys to be back for another hour or so.

It was nice having the house to ourselves though. We were able to talk freely and just be ourselves without getting interrupted. Not that I don't like the boys' company or anything, but I like having Axel all to myself.

"What do you want to watch?" Axel asks, grabbing the remote from his coffee table before taking a seat next to me on the couch. He pulls up Netflix and begins to scroll through the list while I watch him.

Not in a creepy way...

But maybe like a "I have a crush on you, how have you not caught on by now," kinda way.

Totally innocent....

To an extent.

"I thought you weren't going to let me choose this time." I tease, bumping my shoulder into his.

"Oh right, thanks for reminding me." He says, pushing my hand away as I make an attempt to steal the remote from him.

"You're just jealous that I probably have better taste in movies than you do." I say, crossing my arms over my chest while giving him a look.

His eyes are focused on the tv trying to act distracted, but the corners of his lips raise into an amused grin.

"And now you're probably thinking to yourself how right I am," I add, which causes him to stop what he is doing and look at me.

"And here I was... thinking that you didn't think highly enough of yourself."

"You were wrong, I personally think I'm fantastic."

"Eh..." He draws out, which makes me drop my mouth in an exaggerated pout.

"Go on," I say, pocking him in the shoulder, "tell me I'm great."

"Aren't you humble." He mumbles, sarcasm lacing through his voice.

"Very, now pass the remote and I'll prove my words true," I say, holding my hand out for the remote.

He looks down at my hand but doesn't make any sign of acknowledging my request.

I wait for a moment, and when the remote still isn't placed in my hand, I make a move to grab it.

But he's too quick.

"Too slow," He teases, moving the remote to the hand that was farther from me.

Like that would stop me...

I try to reach over to grab it, only for him to laugh and proceed to hold the remote up in the air so that I couldn't reach it.

And for a moment, I get distracted, and forget what I was trying to do.

Curse him and his long, muscular, visually appealing arms.

I narrow my eyes at him as he continues to hold the remote in the air, only for him to return my look and narrow his eyes right back at me.

So that's how it's going to be...

"You're evil," I huff out a breath.

"So I've been told." He says with a cheesy grin.

Little does he know that Ella and I have fought over the tv remote since we were kids, so he doesn't know who he is messing with.
