A couple days later - Over at the Airport
Zac Calls Fatima
Fatima: Hey baby.
Zac: hey baby, how's work?
Fatima: Work is good. I'm about to get off in a lil bit. I'm finishing up my last bit of work for today.
Zac: I'm about to head home in a lil. You wanna go grocery shopping together when you make it home?
Fatima: Oh it's getting real I see. Out in public together. I like that. And I would love to go grocery shopping with you.
Zac: Baby we passed real.
Fatima: I guess you're right.
Zac: See you when you get home. I love you.
Fatima: Wait a min, what you say?
Zac: I said I'll see you when you get home.
Fatima: No, what you say after that?
Zac: What, I love you?
Fatima: Yea, that.
Zac: What, I'm not allowed to tell you that I love you?
Fatima: Yes you are.
Zac: Then what's the problem?
Fatima: Nothing, I just never heard you say it to me.
Zac: Well I'm saying it now.
Fatima: I love it. And I love you too.
Zac: Well get back to work and I'll see you later baby.
Fatima: Okay baby, see you at home.
They hang up
Danni: So who's the woman that got you so happy?
Zac: Do you ever mind your own business Danni? And who said it has to be a woman? Why can't I just be happy?
Danni: Because that response says it's a woman.
Zac: Well if you must know, it is a woman. And she's everything I never thought I needed.
Danni: Are you doing this to make Karen jealous?
Zac: Why would I do that Danni? Plus I haven't talked to nor seen Karen in weeks.
Danni: uh huh. Just make sure you're not doing this to fill a void.
Zac: Oh trust and believe me that Karen is far from my mind.
Danni: If you say so.
Zac: Bye Danni. I got a woman to get home to.
Danni: bye Zac.
Zac leaves work and headed to Fatima house to wait for her to make it home.
Over at the law firm.
Andi: So you met someone I see.
Fatima: Why you say that?
Andi: Because this glow on you and because the smile on your face just talking about it, screams yes.
Fatima: Okay, I did. And Andi when I say this man got me gone, I mean just that. It's been about 3 going on 4 months of us seeing each other. And I didn't know how real it was until today when he told me that he loved me.
Andi: Oh really?
Fatima: Yes!! Andi I don't know what it is but he's special.
Andi: Well, I'm happy for you girl. I really am. So when are you going to reveal him?
Fatima: Soon.
Andi: Well I'm not going to hold you any longer. If you're finished with everything, you can get going.
Fatima: okay, I just gotta file this that's case and I'm done.
Andi: okay, well you have a great rest of your day. And tell that man you got to be good to you.
Fatima: I sure will.
Back at Fatima's house. Zac is sitting on the couch watching tv, waiting on Fatima to walk through the dood. 45 mins later, she walks through the door.
Zac: Hey baby. I'm glad you're home. ( kisses her )
Fatima: I see somebody really missed me.
Zac: I absolutely did.
Fatima: I missed you too baby. So when you wanna go grocery shopping?
Zac: We can go now if you like.
Fatima: okay that's fine.
They leave to go grocery shopping. 30 mins later, they make it to the store. Zac gets out and walks over to open Fatima door.
Zac: After you my queen.
Fatima: ooouu, you better stop that.
Zac: I don't plan on stopping anytime soon.
Fatima: I don't want you too.
They walk into the store, grabbed a shopping cart and started shopping.
Zac: So what you wanna cook tonight?
Fatima: I'm not sure and we cooking together?
Zac: If you want too.
Fatima: You know I love it when we cook together.
Zac: Well it's a bet.
Fatima: let's do it.
It's been about 30 mins and they're finishing up shopping.
Zac: Shitt!!
Fatima: Baby what's wrong?
Zac: My crazy ass ex, that's what.
Karen: Well hey Zac.
Zac: Bye Karen.
Karen: Who's she?
Zac: None of your concern.
Karen: I guess she's another bitch to make me Jealous.
Zac: First of all don't worry about who the fuck she is. Secondly watch your mouth because she ain't no bitch. Thirdly who the fuck trying to make you jealous?
Karen: You always do.
Zac: Karen ain't nobody worried about you. And you left me, remember.
Karen: Yea I did.
Zac: Okay then. And I found somebody better. Now let me get out of here so I can go make love to my woman.
Karen: yea whatever Zac.
Zac and Fatima walk away and went to check out.
Zac: Baby I'm sorry about that. That girl is crazy and controlling. And always want shit to go her way.
Fatima: It's all good baby. And I see, she's definitely that. But baby how you handle her, that shit got me feeling some type of way.
Zac: What you mean?
Fatima: Exactly what it reads.
Zac: Oh I see.
Fatima: Oh do you.
Zac: Woman you better stop before I take you home and fuck the shit out of you.
Fatima: who said we had to wait until we get home?
Zac: Aight bet. Say no more.
They finished paying for their groceries and went to load the car. They get in the car and Zac starts driving, Fatima gets in the backseat.
Fatima: So you gonna stop and join me or, are you going to keep me waiting back here by myself?
Zac: Oh you serious?
Fatima: Oh you thought I was playing? Oh baby, I'm dead serious.
Zac pulls over in the empty parking lot and joined Fatima. And you can only guess what happened next.
