At the doctors
Receptionist: Good morning, how can I help you?
Fatima: Yes I'm Fatima Taylor and we would like to get our baby girl checked out?
Receptionist: And what's her name?
Fatima: Ava Taylor.
Receptionist: Yes, I'll get her checked in and someone will be with you shortly.
Fatima: Thank you.
They went and sat down. Shortly after they were called back.
MA: Ava Taylor.
Fatima: Yes
MA: Right this way.
They walked back to the examination room were the nurse checked her vitals and everything.
MA: Someone will be right with you.
Fatima: Okay, thank you.
MA: You're welcome.
The MA leaves out and 10 mins later the nurse walks in.
Nurse: Hello Mr.&Mrs Taylor, what brings you in today?
Fatima: Well this past weekend Ava was running a fever and was a lil fussy. And so yesterday morning when we woke up, it had gotten worse. She had a lil cough and she wasn't eating or anything. So on the safe side we brought her here.
Nurse: Have she been around anybody that was sick?
Fatima: Well she goes to daycare and she also been around my nieces.
Nurse: We'll definitely run some test and see what's going on with baby girl. We been getting a lot of babies coming in here lately.
Fatima: I see. And the weather also changing.
Nurse: Well I will be right back with the test.
The nurse leaves out.
Fatima: My poor baby.
Zac: Right, I hate seeing her sis.
The nurse comes back in swab her throat and nose.
Nurse: Ima get these in and the doctor will be right with you.
Fatima: Thank you.
Nurse leaves out and they just sat and waited. 15 mins later the doctor comes in.
Doctor: Good morning Mr&Mrs Taylor.
Fatima: Good morning Dr what's going on?
Doctor: Well lil one here has a little cold. Which seems to be going around. Ima send her home with so antibiotics and cough syrup and she should be good within a couple days.
Fatima: Thank you Dr.
Doctor: My pleasure. You all have a great rest of your day.
They left and went to pick up Ava medicine.
Fatima: It's a gloomy day out today.
Zac: I saw that it's supposed to rain all day.
Fatima: What do you think about soup for today?
Zac: Ooouu if it's your famous soup then yes, I would love some.
Fatima: We gotta stop by the store then.
Zac: I can run in while she's sleep. That why we don't have to keep getting her in and out of the car.
Fatima: That's fine.
