Long Lost Sister

Fatima: Faith this is Andi, Andi this is Faith.

Andi: It's nice to meet you.

Faith: it's nice to meet you as well.

Fatima: Faith remember the conversation we had earlier?

Faith: Yes

Fatima: Well I have something to tell me.

Faith: Please tell me she's alive.

Fatima: Oh she's very much alive.

Faith: How do you know?

Fatima: Because she right there ( pointing at Andi)

Faith: Are you serious?

Fatima: Yes.

Andi: A couple weeks ago I got a call from an unknown number. I didn't answer it at first but then it just kept calling and calling. The man on the other end of the phone introduced himself as Aaron Michel. He said he was my father and at first I didn't believe him because my mother told me that my father was dead. So I vetted him and turns out everything that he was telling me was truth. And earlier today, i met him at the law firm.

Faith: Wait what?

Andi: He talked about you and he wants to meet you. He told me the whole story about your mom and how she left when she was pregnant with you.

Faith starts to get teary eyed.

Faith: What did he say?

Andi: He said that they were in love but her parents didn't like him because of his lifestyle. He said one day she just up and left without saying anything. No calls, text, no nothing. And that he found out that he had a daughter a year before her passing.

Faith: That's when I found out about him. I was angry because I felt like my entire life was a lie. My whole life I was told that he didn't want me and that he left us. When reality is that, she robbed me from relationship with him.

Fatima: Do you feel like it was her way of protecting you or something else.

Faith: I feel like it was her way of running. From what I don't know. I was told that when things got hard that's what she do. And I saw it for myself as I got older. I didn't even know that she was sick until it was too late.

Fatima: I'm sorry to both of you that y'all had to grow up in a lie.

Faith: Life happens, that's why I became a therapist. But more than anything, I know what pain, betrayal, heartache feels like.

Fatima: You both are so strong.

Andi: Because I had no other choice but to be. You know what I've been through. And to know that I have a sister and father fills in the empty gaps that were missing.

Both Faith and Andi starts to cry.

Fatima: It's not too late to build that bond with your father. Yes it's so many years you've missed, but you still have a chance.

Faith: So what he's like.

Andi: He seems to be a genuine man. He's made his mistakes, and paid the price for them. But we deserve to know each other for us, and from our own perspective.

Faith: That's true. I wanna meet him.

Andi: And he wants to meet you also.

Faith: Fatima how did you find here?

Fatima: Andi is my best friend, who's also my sister in law and partner.

Faith: Wowww, that's crazy. Well I'm happy to know that I have a sister.

Andi: I feel the same way. And I wanna get to know you better.

Faith: Well are you married, have kids, etc.

Andi: Yes to both. I'm actually married to Fatima's brother and we have twins girls together.

Faith: Aww i have two nieces?

Andi: Yes you do.

Faith: I would love to meet them one day.

Andi: We can make that happen.

Faith: Well I'm single and I don't have any children.

Fatima: Speaking of children. Would you like to meet mine?

Faith: Ofc I would.

Fatima went upstairs to get them.

Zac: Hey baby what's wrong?

Fatima: Nothings wrong. I just came to get them. Faith wants to meet them.

Zac: Okay then.

Fatima: Can you bring Ava down.

Zac: Yes I can.

They the babies and went back downstairs.

Faith: Hello Zac

Zac: Hi Faith.

Fatima: This is our daughter Ava Imani.

Faith: Aawww, she's beautiful. He's definitely your twin Fatima.

Fatima: And this is Zion.

Faith: Awww he's so handsome.

Fatima: You wanna hold him.

Faith: Sure!

Fatima hands Faith Zion and Ava goes to Andi.

Andi: Hey Tt baby girl.

Faith: Y'all have some beautiful babies.

Faima: Well thank you.

Zac: Well baby I'm going back upstairs. Y'all need anything?

Faima: No baby we good.

Zac: I love you ( Kisses her )

Fatima: I love you too baby. ( kisses him )

Zac went back upstairs.

Faith: Fatima that man admires the fuck out of you.

Andi: You haven't seen anything yet.

Faith: What you mean.

Andi: Oh you'll see.

They all laugh.
