Your Embrace

It's Friday and Zac is on his way home. Fatima and  are sitting in her office talking.

Andi: Well I see somebody's in a better mood.

Fatima: That's because my husband coming home today.

Andi: What time he supposed to make it?

Fatima: Supposed to be 5 and I can't wait to jump into his arms.

Andi: I know you can't sis.

Fatima: Andi, sis you just don't know. I love the fuck out of that man. ( Getting teary eyed )

Andi: You know what, get out of here. And go get ready for your man. I will get Ava when I pick up the girls.

Fatima: You sure?

Andi: Yes sis, now go. Jordan and I will drop her off later.

Fatima: Thank you so much sis.

Andi: It's no problem. I gotcha, always.

Fatima: I love you and I will call you later.

Andi: Okay sis, and I love you too.

Fatima leaves work and headed to the store to pick up some groceries, wine, and some more things. She pay for everything and headed home. She make it there in less then 20 mins. She gets out, got everything and headed inside. She places rose petals, and candles from the front door, up the stairs, leading into their bedroom bathroom. She cooked dinner, went upstairs, ran him a hot bath and jumped in the shower. 30 mins later, she gets out, lotion herself down, and put on his favorite lingerie and perfume. She pinned her hair up, put on their bedroom playlist, lit up the candles, dimmed the lights and waited for him to walk through the door. Shortly after he walks through the door.

Zac: Damn!!

Fatima: Hey daddy, mama missed you.

She jumps in his arms and kissed him passionately.

Zac: If this what I come home to. I need to leave more often.

Fatima: Don't try me.

Zac: You cooked?

Fatima: I did. But I want you to get settled and wine down first. Then we can eat.

They went upstairs into their bedroom.

Zac: What you got going on.

Fatima: I just want to show you how much you mean to me.

Zac: I already know that.

Fatima: But do you?

Zac: Yes baby I do.

Fatima: I ran you a hot bath.

Zac: I see.

Fatima: Here let me help you.

Fatima helped him undressed.

Fatima: Get In, relax and I'll be downstairs.

Zac: You not going to sit and talk to me?

Fatima: No, we got all night to do that. I just want to to relax.

Zac: Okay baby.

Zac gets in and Fatima headed downstairs. 30 mins later Zac comes back downstairs.

Fatima: Have a seat.

Zac: What you cooked?

Fatima: you'll see.

Fatima cooked some lamb chops, garlic mashed potatoes, asparagus, and Mac and cheese.

Zac: Damn baby this looks good.

Fatima: Well I hope you enjoy the taste of it as much as the sight of it.

Zac: Baby you know I love anything you cook.

Fatima: Well eat up so we can go upstairs.

They sat and ate had a couple glasses of wine.

Zac: Where's my baby?

Fatima: She's with Andi. I wanted to spend this time alone with you. And if you want her home tonight then Andi and Jordan will bring her.

Zac: I was hoping to see both of my babies.

Fatima: Well let's just spend these couple of hours together and we'll go get her or they will bring her.

Zac: We can do that.

Fatima: You ready to go upstairs.

Zac: Let's headed up.

They went upstairs and sat on the bed.

Zac: So how was your day?

Fatima: My day was better.

Zac: I'm happy to hear that.

Fatima: And how was your day and flight?

Zac: it was okay but better now.

Fatima: So baby I know that it's been a whole week since we made love. But tonight I want something that's deeper than that. I just want us to talk while in each other embrace.

Zac: I would love nothing more than that.

Fatima: Baby you sure?

Zac: Baby look at me, you're my wife. And if that's what you want and need, then baby nothing else matters.

Fatima: I love you so much. And I wasn't going to be able to go another day without you. You're my safe space and without you around, I feel unsafe. It's like apart of me is missing.

Zac: I love you too baby. And you don't have to worry baby. Rather I'm near or far, I'm with you. You gotta believe that.

Fatima: Can you just hold me right now.

Zac: Yes, baby I can.

Zac held Fatima in his arms. And she breaks down.

Fatima: I don't ever wanna lose you, I can't. Promise me you'll hold me forever.

Zac: It's okay baby I'm here now. I'm not going anywhere. And I promise you that I'll hold you forever.

Zac just held her tightly in his arms and she cried herself to sleep. Zac doesn't like seeing her so vulnerable, and he knew that in that moment, she needed his embrace more than anything. So that's what he gave her. It was late so they just waited until the morning to get Ava.
