It's 3am and Fatima is up sick, she's been up throwing up since 1am so on the safe side he decides to take her to the hospital being that she's 5 months pregnant.
Zac: yes my name is Zachary Taylor and this is my wife Fatima Taylor. She's been in and out of sleep vomiting since 1am and I didn't know what else to do but bring her here.
Receptionist: ok we'll get her checked in and see what's going on.
They get her checked in and they sat and waited until they call them baby. 10 mins later they call her back.
Medical assistant: Mrs.Taylor
Zac: right here
Medical assistant: right this way.
They roll her to the examination room.
Medical assistant: someone will be with you shortly.
Fatima's crying.
Zac: Baby it's okay. I got you.
Fatima: I just want our baby girl to be okay.
Zac: And baby she will be.
The nurse walks in.
Nurse: Hey, what's going on?
Zac: my wife is 5 months pregnant and she woke up out her sleep throwing up and felt like she had a fever. I didn't know what else to do so I brought her here.
Nurse: okay we'll get her checked out.
The nurse checks her vitals.
Nurse: She is running a lil fever and her oxygen is a lil low. We're going to get her admitted. And get some test ran.
Zac: okay, thank you..
Nurse: You're welcome.
Zac: Baby I got you ( tears in his eyes )
Shortly after the nurse comes to get them.
Nurse: we going to need you to wait out her just until we get her into a room and run some test.
Zac: okay. Baby I love you.
Fatima: I love you too. ( kisses him )
Zac sits in the waiting room in tears. He calls Fatima's mom.
Anita: hello
Zac: hey mom, I'm at the hospital with Tima. She's running a fever and her oxygen is a lil low. They admitting her putting her into a room now and running some test. And I'm waiting on them to come get me now.
Anita: okay son just stay calm. Everything's going to be okay. I'm on my way.
Zac: okay mom thank you.
Anita: You're welcome.
Zac: God please let my wife and baby girl be okay.
About 20 mins later the nurse comes to get him and tells him he can go in.
Over at the Wilson's
Anita: Baby wake up.
James: what's wrong?
Anita: Zac just called and said that Tima is in the hospital.
James: what's going on.
Anita: I'm not sure. He just said that she has a fever and that her oxygen levels were a lil low. And that they're running test.
James: okay
They got ready and headed to the hospital.
Back at the hospital
Fatima is sleeping. They gave her an IV and have her on oxygen. 30 mins later her parents comes in.
Zac: hey mama. Hey pops
Anita: hey son.
Zac: I hate seeing her like this. ( cries )
Anita: baby she's going to be okay. You gotta be strong for her.
Zac: I just never experienced nothing like this in my life.
Anita: it's going to be okay.
Doctors comes in.
Doctor: Good morning Mr.Taylor
Zac: Good morning Dr.Stevens. These are my in-laws.
Doctor: Nice to meet you all.
Zac: So what's going on with her.
Doctor: Her blood sugar levels had dropped which affected everything that's going on. From the vomiting, dehydration, fever, low oxygen. But good news is that she's going to be okay.
Zac: What about our baby girl?
Doctor: Baby is good. We're going to monitor her for the next 24 hours, just until her levels comes back up.
Zac: Okay, thank you so much Dr.Stevens
Doctor: you're welcome Mr.Taylor
Doctor leaves out.
Anita: Well now that we know that she's okay. We're going to head out and we will see you later. And call us if anything changes.
Zac: okay mama. I love y'all
Anita: We love you too son.
Anita and James leaves
Zac is sitting in the chair with his head against the wall. Fatima wakes up.
Fatima: Baby can you give me some water.
Zac goes only to the bed and help her drink the water.
Zac: Baby, you had me scared.
Fatima: Baby I'm sorry. ( cries)
Zac: Baby it's not your fault. ( tears in his eyes)
Fatima: Can you lay up here with me?
Zac: Yes baby I can.
Zac gets in the bed with her.
Zac: I don't know what I would've did if something was to have to you or our daughter. ( crying)
Fatima: It's okay baby. I'm not ever leaving you. We're not leaving you. ( wiping his tears away)
Zac: Baby I love you so much.
Fatima: I love you too baby.
Zac just held her into his arms and they fall asleep.
