Taps of the pencil against the wooden desk filled the dim room. It's pink eraser bounced up and down rhythmically in the quiet atmosphere.
The boy's eyes had been staring at the blank page in front of him since he arrived in his bedroom, jaw clenching every once in a while. Last time he looked at a clock was when the school bells ranged for departure—which was around three o clock.
Looking over, the digital alarm clock next to the lamp read five thirty in its bold red numerals, making a heavy breath exit out his lungs.
He didn't realize or care how fast the time went by, all that mattered was his black and white composition book—that had in it blue lines going across its empty pages.
