K-Ci placed his essentials—which were a portable radio, Margarita, and a Playboy magazine down on the table next to his white recliner and wasted no time lying down so he could relax in the hot sun.
He rested his arms behind his head as he looked into the beautiful ocean view ahead. The water was clear blue—not the fainted dirty kind you see at your local beach.
Dalvin figured it would be a great idea if he and the guys were to take a mini cruise on the private ship they all pitched in to buy sometime last year for the first time. Since they had returned from touring outside the country for two months, he figured they should all take a break and go on vacation.
Also, they ain't have shit else to do.
The idea was for them all to meet at the dock around five A.M. to watch the sunrise on the ship, but unfortunately, certain circumstances got in the way of their plan.
JoJo bailed out the night before their trip because he didn't feel like getting up that early, and he gets seasick anyways, and DeVanté had to handle some last-minute business with one of his Swing Mob artists who was getting a bit rebellious.
So now there were two. K-Ci and Dalvin weren't fazed about it, being that they were used to the two of them just hanging out and doing stuff together. It had been a couple of years since the whole group got together and did other extracurricular activities besides performing.
Sadly, their personal lives got in the way, and they couldn't be the same four group of guys just clowning around with each other anymore because of adulthood—and they hated it, especially Dalvin.
