▍After tucking Semi in for bed, I searched the closet so our 'house guest' could have some dry clothes to wear. I looked through Cedric's side of the walk-in closet, hoping to find something he no longer wears.
Dinner went well, thankfully. He surprisingly made amends with Semi after the incident from earlier. They had a fun time chatting about their favorite action films—bonding over the similar opinion that DC is better than Marvel.
Although we spent a decent amount of time talking with one another, and he seems like a sweet person so far, I can't help but feel like this 'DeVanté' is hiding something.
An aha, exhaled into the warm air.
After five minutes of moving different suits and designer jackets on the hangers aside, I finally found Cedric's NYU gray hoodie. My lips formed a smile as I remembered the chill dates we used to go on where we wore our matching sets. He probably won't notice it since he hasn't worn it in years.
