"I've been thinking" Dec yawned as he woke up in Ant's loving arms the next morning.
"What about?" Ant asked as he nibbled on Dec's earlobe.
"I want to get a dog" Dec announced.
"Really?" Ant asked surprised.
"Yeah" Dec nodded "I love dogs,you know I do and you do too,so why not?"
"I know it would be amazing,but what about all the travelling we'll be doing?what happens then?" Ant asked concerned.
"It can come with us" Dec grinned excitedly "won't that be amazing?and you'll be there to look after it when I'm busy with work stuff"
"Chauffeur and dog sitter now am I?" Ant laughed.
"Yep" Dec grinned "and perfect,amazing,gorgeous,sexy boyfriend...that's your main role"
"Ha" Ant laughed "trying to butter me up are you?"
"Is it working?" Dec questioned "and we can actually get a proper dog sitter,there's some pretty good ones out there,I've already been doing my research and have found an amazing place based in London and Suffolk"
"But we're in Italy most of the time now" Ant frowned,pointing out that Dec's popularity had taken off so much in the European country,that it only seemed natural for them to spend a lot of time there as Dec was constantly doing TV and other guest appearances there.
"That doesn't matter" Dec replied "we still spend a lot of time in England,we can just travel over there when necessary...just look at this place"
Dec immediately showed Ant the place he had been researching and Ant had to admit that it looked pretty impressive with its sprawling countryside and lakes for the dogs to play in.
"I guess that's not the London branch?" Ant laughed.
"No" Dec giggled "that's in Suffolk,amazing though isn't it?"
"Yeah,it is" Ant nodded "but we should look for a place in Italy too,rather than staying in hotels all the time"
"Sure...so can we?" Dec asked excitedly "can we get a dog?have I buttered you up enough yet?"
"You don't even have to try" Ant replied "you know I'd do anything for you"
"So the answer is yes then?" Dec asked excitedly.
"Yes,we can get a dog" Ant replied happily "what kind?"
"I'd like a golden retriever" Dec announced "I love them,they're so loving and soppy...a golden retriever puppy"
"A PUPPY?" Ant exclaimed in shock "puppies are a handful and need training,when will have time to do that?"
"We'll find time" Dec assured him "I promise"
And so a few weeks later they were collecting their lively new addition to their family.
By now,Ant had afforded to buy his own car and the cute,excitable pup eagerly attempted to jump onto the back seat,but her little legs couldn't quite manage the mammoth task.
"Easy there little one" Ant laughed as he helped her up.
"We still haven't decided on a name" Ant pointed out once back home,as Dec attempted to persuade the pup how to wee on a puppy pad,frowning when she immediately jumped away from it and left a puddle on the nice wooden floor.
"Ok,we'll work on that" Dec smiled,picking her up and sitting down on the sofa next to Ant.
"So we've narrowed it down to Cleopatra,Melachi and Mushroom" Ant stated.
