Dec frowned at that comment.

"I absolutely forbid you from coming" he repeated "I can get other people to make my outfits"

"And they won't be as good as me" Anne stated confidently.

"Mum please" Dec frowned "can't you see that working really won't be good for you right now?"

"Says who?" Anne asked "the doctors certainly haven't said that,would you rather I just sat at home being bored?"

"No" Dec sighed "I'd rather you just sat at home recuperating and anyway,you might still be here...in Dubai...in hospital,you don't even know when you're going to be released yet"

"Well,I'm feeling better already" Anne smiled "I'll be on my way home before you know it"

"I'm just worried about you" Dec frowned "Pat tell her will you"

"Like she's gonna listen to me" Pat laughed.

"I know you're worried about me sweetheart" Anne said to Dec "but you really don't need to be,I want to do this,I want a sense of normality wherever I can get it"

"I understand that Mum" Dec nodded "but I'm sorry,I'm putting my foot down with this,you will not be coming to Milan"

Anne stared at Dec,but didn't say a further word and Dec hoped that would be the last of it,the subject was closed as far as he was concerned.

A few days later,the family were delighted when doctors announced that Anne was well enough to leave hospital and travel home and just a couple of days later,they were boarding a flight,with Dec having hired a private nurse to travel with them.

After helping Anne and Fonsey to get settled back at home,with the nurse staying for a few days before flying back to Dubai,Dec said goodbye to Pat,who had decided to stay the night at her parents place.

"Thanks for coming out to Dubai" he smiled as he hugged his big sister "it really helped having you there"

"You don't have to thank me" Pat frowned "they're my parents too,I wanted to be there,I'm just sorry I couldn't come out sooner,it's not fair that the burden is always on your shoulders"

"Don't worry about that" Dec replied kindly "I wanted to be there"

"But you can't wait to get back to Ant right?" Pat grinned.

"God yeah" Dec beamed "I've missed him so much,there's nothing I want more right now than one of his lovely cuddles"

"Off you go then" Pat smiled "at least you're only a few minutes walk away"

The family had taken an overnight flight from Dubai so it was still only just gone 6am and as much as Dec wanted to jump into Ant's loving arms...kiss him...hug him...make love to him...he very much expected him to still be fast asleep.

As he quietly put his key in the door a few minutes later,complete silence greeted him,so he quietly placed his suitcase down in the hallway and tiptoed into the bedroom.

There he found Ant fast asleep as expected,snoring lightly and the dogs crashed out on the end of the bed.

Dec knew it would be a real challenge to get into bed without disturbing them,but he just about managed it and soon his arms were wrapped around Ant.

Ant and Dec both loved sleeping skin to skin so always slept naked and this occasion wasn't any different.

As much as Dec was yearning to kiss Ant,to hear his voice or just look into his loving eyes,it wasn't unusual for one of them to slip into bed while the other one was fast asleep because of their working or travelling schedules.
