It was as if the world froze. I had no idea what I should do. The voice was obviously not Gabriel's and although it was bouncy it didn't match Dr. Green's voice. Biting my lip I held the phone tighter in my hands unsure what to do.
"Hello?" The voice asked again the voice a little quieter. Well I had already dialed the number so I might as well. I took a slow breath bringing the phone close to the side of my face.
"Hello may I please speak to Gabriel?" I asked politely playing with the edge of my comforter. There was a pause on the other end of the phone and I waited.
"Ah! Sure! Are you the bird he met today?! He wouldn't stop talking about you when he got home!" The male voice continued to stay at a bouncy friendly level and I blushed as he told me what Gabriel had said.
"I don't know about a bird. But yes I met Gabriel today." I giggled softly my fingers rushing to my lips. "Umm may I ask who I am talking to?" I played with my bottom lip drawing it away from my teeth slightly before letting it fall back into place.
There was the sound of movement in the background before the male's voice reappeared on the phone. "I'm Luke and I believe you are Sang correct?" A soft laugh could be heard from the phone and I smiled relaxing.
"Why yes I am Sang and you must be the person who played a prank on Gabriel?" I giggled as the laughter got louder on the other side of the phone. Curling up in the comfort of the pillows on my bed I listened to Luke's beautiful laughter.
"He told you about that did he!" Luke stated once he had finally calmed down and in the background I could here shuffling.
"He told who what?!" Gabriel's tenner voice rang out and I smiled giggling harder as I listened.
"You told Sang about my prank?!" Luke exclaimed as, I assumed, he shifted toward the sound of Gabriel's voice because it instantly grew louder.
"How did you know I told- IS THAT MY PHONE?! Fucking hell Luke!" The yelling made me shiver a little but it wasn't to loud and I relaxed into the warmth a little more. There was shifting and I smiled silently to myself. "Sang?" His voice had calmed down thankfully.
"Hello Gabriel." I smiled blushing a little at the sound of his voice on the other end of the phone. "I hope I wasn't interrupting anything but I just wanted to call you back. I just got in from work."
"No no I am glad you called back." The sound of Gabriel's voice got a little lower and I could sense he was smiling. "I hope Luke didn't scare you off."
"Hey! I was a perfect gentleman! You tell him Sang!" Luke yelled in the background and I giggled even harder.
"You idiot she doesn't wanna talk to you!" Gabriel called back and I wrapped my arm around my stomach as I tried hard to contain my laughing. "Stop laughing over there!" He then called into the phone at me setting off my giggles once more a playful tone in his voice.
"I don't believe you!" Luke called and suddenly I could hear both of them equally. I must have been placed on speaker. "What do you say little bird? What are you up to?"
