Point of View: Sang
My arm linked around Gabriel's he guides me back down the hallway and into the bedroom that I had changed in. Sitting down on the bed, I listen to Gabriel ruffling through clothing and I find my fingers wrapped up in the t-shirt that Luke had given to me earlier. "I don't need something different to sleep in Gabriel." I whisper and suddenly I feel a dip in the bed and turn breathing in the scent of vanilla.
"Yes you do Sang. Don't think I am going to let you sleep in those horrible shorts and that awful t-shirt. You are more likely to lose them in your sleep than actually sleep in them." He states as Luke's arms wrap around my waist and bring me closer to his chest. Feeling his chest against my back, I stiffen a little but his hands shift to my shoulders and massage them.
"Hey! They are not that bad!" Luke complains teasingly and I slowly begin to relax into his chest feeling tired.
"Not that bad!" Gabriel laughs and comes out of what I believe is the closet and pauses. "Sang?" He whispers and Luke's arms gently wrap around me pulling me closer.
Nervously, I quickly try and sit up when Luke's arms wrap around me gently. "He thought you had fallen asleep." Luke explains quickly guiding me back to his chest. "No need to shift just yet." I can feel a soft blush appear on my cheeks but nod as I look toward Gabriel.
"I am awake." I state and I feel his fingers brush over my cheek softly caressing me. "I am tired." I admit and I can just picture Luke and Gabriel smirking to each other in a moment of silence.
"I have some clothes you can change in here." Gabriel says and I feel clothing touch my fingers. Smiling I gently take it from him. "I believe Luke began to run you a bath when North showed up. I can run you another bath but I have a request." Surprised, I shift a little in Luke's lap and play with the fabric in my hands.
"What is the request?" I whisper and suddenly Luke's fingers are rubbing my shoulder's trying to make me relax once more.
"Nothing bad." Gabriel quickly states. "I would never fucking do anything to you." He whispers and I manage a small smile. "I just wanna wash your hair." Stunned, I think over the information before slowly taking a breath.
"Sure I wouldn't mind ummm." I can feel my fingers rush to my lips trembling a little. "How would you want me to..." I whisper and Luke's gentle fingers capture my own and bring them away my lips.
"Once you take the bath, just get dressed like usual and let me know. I will wash it for you." Gabriel states calmly but I can tell there is an underlying tone of worry in his voice.
With a nod, I carefully slip out of Luke's lap with a small smile before making my way down the hall and into the bathroom. Gabriel starts the water for me and gets me towels before closing the door. Moving over to the door, I quickly lock the door before I slowly remove my clothes and sash and step into the warmth of the bath.
Allowing the warmth to soak into my skin, I stay curled up in the large bathtub just thinking over everything that had happened. I had met Luke for the first time and had a fantastic time both at the diner and the movies. Then my apartment had been broken into but Luke comforted me and brought me here and I met North. Smiling, I remembered Dr. Green coming in as well and the wonderful dinner we had. Both Dr. Green and North had to go after the dinner but it was still a very nice time. I even learned about Silas, North's roommate, and how he works at the baseball cages.
Soaking for a bit more, I quickly wash up my body being careful of the scars on my back before stepping out of the bath and pulling on the clothes given to me. I find a small basket to put my dirty clothes in before I carefully put on my sash and I freeze. How am I going to do this without my sash? I can feel my breath freeze in my throat and I cough hard stumbling and bumping into the sink.
I hear something fall to the floor as I slowly regain my breath and suddenly I hear the door handle shaking. "Sang!?" Gabriel's voice calls through the door and I shiver hard nervous. "Sang are you alright?" I cough hard and cover my mouth as I slowly move to the door fumbling to unlock it.
As soon as the click sounds the door opens instantly and the cold air from the hallway rushes in and Gabriel's left arm wraps around my waist and then other to the back of my head bringing me into his chest. "Your breathing is erratic." He whispers and gently pats my back and rubs my neck. "Slowly take a breath and just breath."
I allow Gabriel's scent to wash over me when the scent of vanilla wafts over as well. "Gabe?" Luke' s voice is soft as I slowly manage a few ragged breaths.
"She is okay. Something made her fucking really scared." He whispers and Gabriel guides me away from the bathroom and into the living room to the couch. Helping me settle down, I feel the air shift as Luke moves into the kitchen as Gabriel gently runs a gentle finger over my exposed skin tracing different patterns. "Its okay." He whispers in my ear and I nod slowly allowing myself to relax once more.
"Sang what had you so scared?" Luke asks quietly as he comes back into the room. Something warm is placed in my hand and I realize it is a mug of hot chocolate as I take a small sip.
"I-I didn't realize that I was going to have to remove my sash for Gabriel to wash my hair and as I was putting it back on and I froze." I manage and Gabriel's fingers stop moving over my skin.
"Fucking hell baby." There laughter hidden under his voice and I look toward him. "I wasn't planning on that at all." Surprised I shift a little and Gabriel slowly rubs my back. "That was why I had asked if it was okay. I didn't even realize that you didn't even think about it." I smile sadly and fiddle with the mug in my hands. "I should have stated it more clearly but fuck I didn't think that you would get so scared that you would choke on your own breath."
I manage a small laugh and Luke's hand carefully tucks my hair behind me ear. "Sang," I turn to look toward Gabriel once more and he slips a hand into mine. "I know how uncomfortable you are about you sash and I was going to cover your face with a soft face towel I have." I can feel my heart flutter as he continues to explain what was going to do. He was thinking that far ahead about me? A soft smile forms on my lips as my teeth play with my lips.
"Thank you." I whisper cutting into Gabriel's ideas. "I have never had anyone be so considerate about my insecurities." I state honestly and there is a pause before I feel something soft on my cheek and my heart pounds.
"Of course Sang." Gabriel whispers after he places a soft kiss on my cheek. Blushing super hard my fingers rush to touch the warm spot on my cheek and smile.
There is a long pause before Luke's hand rubs my side distracting me from my thoughts. "Let's head to bed. Gabriel can wash your hair tomorrow because cutie you look like you're about to fall asleep right there." I let out a soft giggle and nod putting down my cup as I follow the boys to another bedroom.
"You will stay in my room." Luke states easily and rubs my back. "I changed the covers and sheets for you as well as the pillow cases so there is nothing to worry about. I will be bunking with Gabe just incase you need anything at all."
Blushing, I nod and Luke leans closer and places a soft kiss on the opposite cheek Gabriel had. "Good night sweet Sang." He smiles and I carefully climb under the covers and curl up breathing in the comfort of vanilla.
