Chapter 70: Found

POV: Kota

Taking a slow deep breath, I glance at North and Silas before turning on my phone and opening up a new group message between everyone.

Kota: Check in please.

North: Here

Silas: Also Here

Gabriel: Just walking out of work. Whats the check in for?

Nathan: At the gym still, client is running late.

Victor: In the car outside of Gabe's work.

Doc: Hospital

Mr. Blackbourne: Mr. Lee please explain

Kota: Luke is accounted for. I message to report two panic attacks. First by Sang and the second by Luke. Both are recovering.

Doc: I am coming home.

Silas: I walked Luke through the steps just like the training you gave us said. He is asleep Doc.

Mr. Blackbourne: Mr. Korba what are you doing back home?

North: Luke messaged me about half way into our stake out swearing. I called and Sang was on the phone basically hyperventilating because no one was home and she was concerned. I rushed us home and took care of Sang.

Victor: How is princess?

North: Shaken

Gabriel: Shit Trouble must have been super worked up. We are on the way home now. Vic's driving so no message response from him.

Doc: How was her breathing?

North: Ragged.

Nathan: Stay close to us for her.

Silas: We need to talk about security. She is obviously scared for our well being and from what has happened she has every right to be.

North: I fucking agree. From what we learned on our job it just looks like this guy is fucking trouble. He is able to hide the fucking sociopathic monster he is because he was let lout early on good behavior. He fucking doesnt deserve to live let alone be free.

Kota: Its only a matter of time until he finds her.

Doc: I agree but we still have a job to get done. We need to find out more about her first before we bring her to the Academy.

Mr. Blackbourne: I agree with Dr. Green and Mr. Korba. We need to get this under control. A schedule needs to be set. Mr. Lee I will talk with you about the change later today. For now, everyone is to get home and get sleep.

Gabriel: We have a problem.

Mr. Blackbourne: Yes Mr. Coleman.

Gabriel: We have picked up a tail.

POV: Sang

Waking to the sound of rushing footsteps and loud voices, I slowly crawl out of bed and make my way to the door. Rubbing my eyes, I do my best to clear my head of sleep but fail miserably. I probably hadn't gotten enough sleep. Too late now though.

Making my way down the hallway, I take in a short breath of air and recognize the sent of vanilla. Moving down the hallway, I reach out and suddenly arms are wrapped around me. "Luke?" I wrap my arms tightly around his figure pulling him close. "What's going on?"

"There was-" Luke's voice disappears as a string of curses fill the air cutting him off. Tensing, I feel Luke's hands tense around me as I listen.

"Fucking shit! Doc be gentle damnit!" Gabriel yells and I hear shifting around the room. Gabriel and Dr. Green was home? Who else was home? Why was Doc touching Gabriel?

"Gabe. Hold still. You keep squirming and this is going to hurt even more." Dr. Green states his voice filled with annoyance and worry. Gabriel was hurt? Worry started to kick in.

"Sorry Gabe." Surprised, I tense as I realize that it is Victor's voice. Something was definitely wrong. Taking a second, I gently grab Luke's hand and make my way down the stairs not waiting for Luke to respond.

"What happened?" I ask interrupting the conversation in the room. Everything goes silent and uncomfortable. Panicking, Luke's hand tightens around mine as we make our way down the stairs and into the living room.

"Gabe and Victor are hurt." Luke whispers quietly behind me as though he has become my eyes. I bite my lip hard as the words actually begin to sink in. It was the exact scenario that I feared.

"It was him wasnt it?" I state trying to keep my voice calm even though I am beyond panicking inside. They had been found and it was my fault again. They must have recognized Gabriel from the last time we had been in the car. Which meant they would now also recognize Victor and Luke if they saw each other once more. My mind quickly begins to wonder to a bunch of different possibilities.

"Victor and Gabriel picked up a tail headed back here. We haven't been able to confirm it was him." I hadn't realized there had been an eery silence before Mr. Blackbourne spoke but now I realized that I had gained everyone's attention. Everyone had returned home. Nodding slowly, I take a deep breath trying to keep my mind on the present.

"Okay. So how did you get in an accident?" I question looking around at empty space.

"I took a turn to fast and we crashed into a telephone pole." Victor states. His voice is raw and soft. From what I can tell he is shaken and concerned about what had happened even guilty for crashing the car.

"Only minor scratches a couple needed a few stitches."Dr. Green quickly adds trying to comfort everyone in the room and I nod taking a slow deep breath. If it had been him it would have been a lot worse... unless he had sent someone else.

"And the person tailing you?" I question nervously fearing the answer.

"Fucking disappeared." Gabriel states. "We gave the information to the cops but I doubt they will be able to do anything." His voice is softer now but I can hear the edge in his voice and I wince in pain.

I squeezing Luke's hand tightly in mine. If he had found the boys then we were all in danger. But they were trying to tell me that it wasn't for sure. But I knew... it could only be him.
