Point of View: Sang

Pulling my hand away from the stove instantly, I take a sharp breath at the pain throbbing through my fingers. My mind is still spinning from the information about the accent. Silas had a greek accent? Was it possible that... "Sang?" Gabriel's voice cuts off my train of thought and I can feel the air shift as he  rushes over. I feel his chest hit my back as his arms wrap around me and then carefully warp his hand around mine guiding it  to the sink.

"Make sure its warm water..." I whisper in pain and Gabriel's hands tense around mine as we wait a moment before I feel the water rush over my burnt fingers and I flinch. Tears instantly form in my eyes, and Gabriel's other hand gently finds its way to the back of my head holding me close to his chest.

"Breath through the pain." He whispers and places a soft kiss on my ear.

"Gabe?" Luke's voice floats into the room a worried undertone in his voice. Blushing, I hide my face in Gabriel's chest once more in order to calm down as Gabriel shifts behind me.

"Get Doc. She burned her fingers." Gabriel states but I quickly shake my head realizing what he was saying.

"Gabriel I am okay. Please don't wake him up. He sounded so exhausted..." My voice is shaky as I try and keep myself calm.

"Let me see." Luke's voice is closer now and Gabriel shifts out of the way and I feel Luke's warmth wash over me. His hand carefully wraps around my wrist, which is still under the water. "Good job with the warm water." He whispers gently shifting my wrist out of the water to get a better look at my injury. "Gabe grab the first aid kit in the bathroom. It isn't serious but I want to wrap it up just incase."

Feeling Gabriel move from my side, I turn to Luke and smile. "Would you mind saving the grilled cheese?" I state and I can feel Luke's chest vibrate as I listen to his comforting chuckle.

"You got it cutie." Hearing Luke pull the pan off the stove when he pauses and I smile.

"They are apples." I state happily. "Something I picked up when I was younger." I carefully shift to the counter opening the Tupperware that Gabriel had picked out for me, with three fingers instead of five and carefully lifted the sandwich, with a spatula, before closing the lid and slipping it into the lunch sack with the container of apples and peanut butter when I hear footsteps headed toward us.

Putting the food down, I moved to Luke who carefully wrapped his arms around my waist and easily lifted me up onto the counter. Letting out a giggle, I carefully sat down on the counter and offered my burnt tingling hand. Luke's calloused fingers gently glide over my hands and move to my finger tips applying cream and then bandages before bringing my hand up and placing a very soft kiss on my knuckles.

"All set my cutie.." He teases and I smile allowing him to lift me from the counter and carefully placing me back to my feet. "No stove without one of us okay?" Surprised, I frown at this and look to Luke to determine if he is serious and when there is no laughter to follow I can feel anger settle in my stomach.

"For your information, I use a stove without anyone watching all the time. I am not an idiot I am just blind. Accidents happen all the time and this is no different. So if you wouldn't mind, I am going to continue to make Dr. Green's lunch and breakfast." I state unhappily and I turn away from Luke and Gabriel moving to the stove and turning it back on before starting to make an omelet for Dr. Green.

There is silence for a moment and I can feel my anger slowly settling before a hand gently squeezes my shoulder. "Sorry Sang." It is Gabriel's voice and it is strong and confident and yet filled with worry. Another hand is placed around my waist and I slowly let out a frustrated breath trying to calm myself down.

"Sang..." I gently hold up my hand and turn to Luke and gently giving him a hug. Breathing in his strong vanilla scent I allow myself to relax as he rubs his hands up and down my back in a comforting manor. "Sang I am sorry." Luke whispers and I nod slowly pulling away and giving him a small smile.

"I can do a lot. People tend to think that people that have a disability are limited in what they can do." I look toward Luke's voice. "I don't want to be limited. So don't limit me." I smile and give Gabriel's hand a soft squeeze before turning back to the stove and adding a variety of different toppings before flipping the eggs and plating the food.

"What's everybody doing in the kitchen?" Silas's voice appears and I turn to the male with a teasing smile.

"Determining if the stove is going to burn me alive apparently." I tease and Gabriel laughs behind me as I wiggle my fingers in the air and I can sense Luke rolling his eyes. Giving him a poke to the stomach, I pour the coffee into both the thermos and a cup before cleaning up. "Would one of you mind waking up Dr. Green?" I ask and Luke wraps his arms around me giving me a gentle hug.

"I will if you forgive me." Luke teases and I can't help but giggle.

With a nod, Luke dashes off to the bedroom while I finish packing the lunch and place it in front of the breakfast. "Do you need to get to work soon Sang?" Silas asks and I bit my lip shrugging softly.

"Could someone tell me the time?" I question softly and there is shifting in the kitchen.

"11:39" Gabriel states and I let out a slow sigh.

"I have to be at work at 1:00ish. That being said..." I fiddle with the edge of the borrowed clothes I am wearing. "I might need some new clothing." There is a sudden pause when suddenly Silas erupts in laughter and I quickly look toward him.

"Angelle mou you definitely are in the right place then." Silas laughs and I smile happily at the sound of this.

"I am going to go and get ready!" Gabriel states placing a kiss on my forehead before rushing off and I stand in the kitchen with a soft smile.

"Come here Sang." Silas states and I slowly make my way from the kitchen when a hand captures my own and guides me to the couch. Smiling, I curl up in my spot in the corner of the couch and look to Silas who is silent for a moment. "Gabe told me that you burnt your fingers when you learned about my accent." I can feel my breath stop and I take a moment to focus before I look to Silas.

"Yes I did." I state calmly. "You reminded me of someone from when I could see..." My fingers fiddle with my shirt slightly. "Silas could I ask you a favor?"

"Of course." Silas's voice is surprised and he moves a little closer slipping his fingers into mine. "What can I do?"

Taking a breath, I smile and look to him. "This is going to sound a little weird but... could I touch your face?" There is a beat of silence and Silas's hands tighten around mine as he carefully guides my hands to his face. I hesitate for a moment before gently placing my hands on his cheeks. His skin is smooth besides a slight rough patch where his beard is growing in. Letting out a slow deep breath, before I slowly run my fingers around his face and down to his chin. I can feel my heart stop as I find a scar on his chin.

"I got that when I was younger playing with my brother." Silas states and I nod slowly before I move my hand to his ear and find another scar. I gasp and draw my hands away my mind buzzing.

"Sang? Sang what's wrong?" Silas's voice is strained as his hand rush out to me rubbing my shoulders.

"Silas..." I whisper barely trusting my voice. "I have met you before." Tears sting my scars as they slip down my cheeks.
