Pulling open the door to the shop, I moved into the store setting off the little bell. "Welcome to- Ah Sang! Thank god you're here! Is that breakfast?!" Avery called out and I could hear her rushing around the counter when the drinks were removed from my hand. Surprised and confused I frowned.
"What do you mean "Thank god you're here"? The store isn't even open yet." I said confused following Avery into the back of the store and to the break room. The scent of tea filled the air as we stepped in and I closed the door behind me. "Hi Mark. Do you know what is going on?" I smiled politely before moving to put the food on the table and took out the different sandwiches and the box of cinnamon rolls.
"She got an order in last night apparently some as she stated "bitch" called at two in the morning demanding a large order of flowers today by seven." Mark explained and I frowned confused as I got the tea cups.
"How could she have gotten her number?" I asked confused. We had kept our numbers off all different applications because of our frequent moving so it was rare that anyone would call that we didn't know.
"Apparently she is a super rich bitch." Mark laughed and I smirked a little as I took my seat. "That's why Avery is running around with her head-"
"Enough Mark!" Avery called as she stepped into the break room a gust of cold wind following her. "She is offering to pay four times as much as normal so I agreed other wise I would have said to hell with it." The chair next to me slid out and I took my seat as I felt the steam from the tea being poured.
"Well now Sang has to pay the consequences." Mark huffed before sitting down and I sighed taking a large bite out of my bagel. "She has everything set up for you Sang. There are five vases needed and seven bouquets and they are going to be delivered." Holding the cup of tea in my hands I relaxed into the warmth before I let out a small sigh. Good think I had come into work early. I took a slow breath of air before taking a few quick mouthfuls of the tea and stood.
"And with that I should get started." I smiled pushing in my chair when two hands caught my wrists. I surprised a laugh as they started to complain at the same time.
"Sang you didn't eat enough of your food. You need to start the day off right." Mark stated and I lightly tugged my wrist away when Avery's voice cut through.
"For once Mark is right. You are to skinny and you should gain some weight." There was silence from Mark which made me smirk thinking he was sending angry glares at Avery.
"This is your fault you know!" Mark exclaimed and I slipped my hand out of Avery's reach as she became distracted with Mark.
"It isn't my fault! It's a big order and we could use the money!" I smiled and silently made my way out the door and into the flower room to my work table. They could go at it for days if they both were in that sort of a mood.
I laughed as I dawned on an apron and moved about gathering the different information required in order to put together the first arrangement when the scent of tea washed over me once more. Frowning, I paused putting the flowers down. "Mark do you need something?"
