Point of View: Sang

Taking a short uneven breath, I suddenly feel hands touching my sides. The hands are large and calloused but they are warm. As they trace over my skin, I can feel my chest heave up slightly and the same hand guides me through a breath where I catch a hint of his smell. North. Reaching out, instantly a large muscular warm body is in my reach and I am unable to control my emotions.

"North." I whisper ever so softly as tears once more slip down my cheeks and suddenly a strong firm mouth is over mine. Feeling the pressure of his lips, I can feel my body relax under his as he takes control of the kiss. It seems to last forever. His soft lips against mine just gentle enough to push me into the pillows but so passionate that I loose my breath.

He just kissed me. The words circle my head as I tuck my forehead into the crook of his neck. Taking slow deep breaths, I can finally feel my shaking stop by my mind continues to spin. Why had he kissed me? Did he like me?

Slowly, North pulls back and I can feel his soft breath against my face letting me know that he was still close if I needed him. My mind seems to run on auto because my mouth starts moving. "Th-thank you for coming home." I whisper ever so softly and I feel North shift, wrapping his arms protectively around my waist.

"Any time you need me baby girl, I will come running." He whispers his voice deeper which makes my insides clench. Letting out a slow calming breath, I feel North shift and draw me closer to him so that my head can rest on his bare chest.  Feeling my head spin with questions about basically everything, we sit like that for a couple of long minutes before I realize that the others are still out and about and I tense again.

"Sang." That commanding voice instantly makes my body relax and North's hand quickly slips under my shirt, the physical contact grounding me. He knew how to prevent a panic attack. Taking a couple of slow breaths, I slowly rest my head back on his defined chest his fingers slowly tracing designs in my back. "Talk to me." He whispers ever so softly his commanding tone completely gone and I nod slowly.

"I am w-wo-worried about the others." I manage shifting uncomfortably at my stuttering. Taking a moment, North's hand slowly snakes out of my shirt and begins to play with my hair. Pulling it away from the back of my neck, I take another couple of soft breaths.

"Did someone say something to you baby girl?" North whispers his voice wavering a little and I can tell he is trying to stay calm for me. Surprised, I shake my head quickly and North pulls me closer to his chest.

"No." I whispered softly and the feeling of anxiety appears once more in my stomach. I had talked to Mr. Blacbourne but all he had really done was inform me where everyone would be. It wasn't the messenger's fault.

"Sang baby, I need you to tell me what happened then." North states his hands still playing with my hair.

"I just... with Avery and... and... him... out and about... I got super worried." I whisper and slowly sit up so that I am facing North's voice. "It really wasn't set off by anyone.. I just... I want everyone to be safe... I can't see North and its hard because I can't actually look out for you guys. It makes me nervous. You are able to protect me but I can't..." My breathing stutters a little and almost instantly North's hand is caressing my cheek as he draws me closer and into another breath stopping kiss.

Pulling away quickly I cover my mouth as I realize what North is doing and I can feel my body start to shake. "Sang." North's voice instantly appears in my ear his voice calm but with a hint of pain. "I am not just kissing you to stop your anxiety. I like you. Now let me help." North states and suddenly the hand over my mouth is gone and his lips are on mine once more.

After a couple more moments of kissing, North releases my lips and I topple into his arms. Allowing him control, he carefully shifts me so that I am curled up under the covers and he is by my side. Smiling, I curl into his chest once more and as I slowly relax beside him I find comfort in his soothing touches.

"So you like me?" I finally whisper breaking the silence and a soft grunt comes from North as though he found my question funny.

"I wouldn't have kissed you if I didn't like you baby girl." He whispers and suddenly he is nibbling on my ear. Instantly all of the hair is standing on end and I let out soft gasps as he continues to tease me.

As North slowly pulls away, I can feel a blush spreading across my face and I burry my face in North chest and he chuckles at me. Best way to end an evening.
