SAMANTHA's POV

We were riding at Sandro's car and of course, he has his personal driver and PSGs. He brought me to Bangui to take some fresh air. He told me that we actually met there. Well, not literally but he found me floating at the sea, unconscious and looked like I'd drowned so he brought me to the hospital. That was a year ago, May 10, 2022 to be exact. Why am I here in Ilocos last year? I still can't remember anything.

I looked around the car and everything was the same from my dream. From the interior design, to the brand and the color is exactly the same.

Sandro: Everything alright?

Samantha: Uhm-hmm.

Sandro: What were you thinking?

Samantha: I uh..... nothing.

Sandro: Come on tell me. I wanna hear it.

Samantha: I've been in your car many times. I was just checking the whole thing and it looks exactly the same in my dream.

Sandro: Really? That's interesting. What were you in your dreams?

Samantha: M-me?

Sandro: Yes. I just want to know more about you.

Samantha: Well, in my dreams.... I was a single mom. I have a daughter and she was 9 years old when we first met. Then..... I have 6 older siblings, so I am the youngest.

Sandro: Do you think it was all true? I mean, I know you haven't remembered anything, yet. But, how do you feel about it?

Samantha: I-I actually don't know.

Sandro: Hmm. And what kind of person am I?

I stared at the road before I answered him.

Samantha: Ahmm... Y-you were so caring... and lovely.... a gentleman... generous... responsible and handsome man. I-I m-mean Congressman.

I actually missed that Sandro and the way he treats me. This man beside me is treating me like a stranger. Well, of course I am one, that's why. I looked at him only to find out that he was already staring at me. Amusement was written all over his face.

Sandro: Handsome?

I frowned and just look away.

Sandro: You think I'm handsome?

Samantha: You told me to describe you. And... and that's what you are.

Sandro: In your dreams or in real life?

Samantha: In m-my d-dreams.

Sandro: How 'bout in real life?

Samantha: O-of course you a-are.

Why is he asking me this kind of questions? I feel awkward.

Sandro: And you said I'm a Congressman?

Samantha: Uhm-hmm. Yes.

Sandro: I see.

Why am I feeling nervous talking to him?

Sandro: How did we meet?

Samantha: I was uh-

Sandro: You feel tensed? I'm not biting.

I don't get him. I feel like he was teasing me or something, but it feels like he was always joking around. I swallow to remove the tension that I am feeling right now.
