SAMANTHA's POV

Sue: Hey gorgeous, can I help you?

I was startled when someone showed up beside me. Tinignan nya yung direksyon kung saan ako nakatingin.

Samantha: No. I'm f-fine.

Sue: You sure?

Wait. I think I know her. Right! She's Sue Ramirez! Javi's girlfriend!

Samantha: Y-yes.

Sue: Okay.

She was about to turn her back at me pero mabilis ko syang tinawag bago pa sya makalayo sakin.

Samantha: W-wait!

Sue: Hmm? Are you lost?

Samantha: N-nope.

Sue: This resort is private and rented by Javi. Are you one of his guest?

Samantha: I'm actually looking f-for... Sandro.

Sue: Sandro? Hold on. Are you his girlfriend?!

Samantha: Ahmm. Y-yes?

Sue: Oh my gahd! I'm sorry! You must be Samantha?

Samantha: I am.

Sue: Nice meeting you, I'm Sue.

She offered a hand and I quickly accepted it.

Samantha: Hi Sue. I'm a fan.

Sue: Oh, don't mention it!

Samantha: Mas maganda ka sa personal.

Sue: Look who's talking?! Mas maganda ka nga sakin.

At tuluyan na nga syang ngumiti at tumawa. I saw some of her videos sa socmed and she's a joker.

Sue: Hey, totoo yung sinabi ko ha? Hindi ako nagjo-joke.

I gave her an awkward laugh. Paano ba namang hindi? I was just thinking of that and parang nabasa nya agad yung nasa isip ko.

Sue: Tara sa dining, were already having an early lunch. Andon si Sandro-

Samantha: Ahmm... medyo busog pa ako. Dun na lang muna siguro ako sa room para makapag-pahinga.

I lied. Ayoko lang talaga sa lugar kung saan andon din si Lex. I just don't feel like seeing nor talking to her. It's fiddly.

Sue: Oh, okay. Pwede kitang samahan.

Samantha: No, no need.

I even wave both of my hands as a sign ng pagtanggi ko sa alok nyang samahan ako. I saw how she hide her laugh dahil sa gesture ko. Nasobrahan ata ako sa pagtanggi. Baka kung anong isipin nya. But instead, she gave me a chirpy smile.

Sue: Are you sure?

Samantha: Uhm-hmm. Susunod na lang ako.

Sue: Alright. May island hopping tayo later, okay? I'll see you then.

Bumeso pa sya sakin na ikinabigla ko. People don't normally do that lalo na kung hindi naman sila close, di ba? She seems so friendly.

Sinimulan kong maglakad papunta sa cottage and I can still feel her stares at my back. I wanted to be alone for a moment para makapag-isip. This trip is gonna be a roller coaster ride for sure.

LEX's POV

Lunch time. Sinadya ko talagang tumabi kay Sandro when I noticed that he's not with Samantha. I'm not really sure kung tama ba tong ginagawa ko pero bahala na. I really need to earn some extra cash.
