NiCOLE's POV

Zeus: I tried texting and calling her for the past few weeks, but she's not answering back.

Zion: I did too and got nothing. Ni hindi rin sya nagse-seen ng messages.

These guys are worried sick about Sammy. After she left her place, wala na kaming natanggap na kahit ano mula sa kanya. Not unless we ask the Marcos brothers about her. Hindi pa nga namin malalaman na nasa Ilocos pala sya kung hindi pa ako nangamusta non kay Sandro. At hindi ko rin malalaman about what happened between her and that Nick guy kung hindi pa sinabi sakin ni Marcus ang dahilan kung bakit sya biglang umalis ng Manila.

Zeus: What if dalawin natin sya sa Ilocos?

Zion: Without her knowledge? Not a good idea.

Nicole: Zayn is right. It's not a good idea. Isa pa, wala naman tayong dadatnan doon.

Zeus: What do you mean?

Nicole: Sammy is in Japan.

"Japan?!"

They both exclaimed in chorus. Sabay na sabay, kambal talaga eh?

Zion: Teka, bakit hindi namin alam yan?

Zeus: Kailan pa?

Nicole: Guys, chill! Hindi ko rin alam, okay? I just saw this post from Simon's IG a few minutes ago.

I showed them my phone at pareho nilang tinignan yung picture na post ni Si from his IG. He's with his two brothers along with Sammy somewhere in Japan and they are enjoying eating ramen. And no kidding, these guys look like they're having a good time.

Zion: Seems like Simon is sending us a message, informing us na wag tayong mag-alala.

Zeus: Yeah, seems like it.

Nicole: So, pinagtataguan tayo ni Sammy?

Zeus: Nics, hindi naman siguro ganon.

Nakakatampo kasi. We're bestfriends pero sa iba ko pa nalalaman yung mga nangyayari sa buhay nya ngayon. She doesn't even have some time to talk to me kahit sandali lang. It feels like she... changed.

Zion: Wag ka na magtampo, Nics. Hindi rin naman malalaman ni Simon ang lagay ni Sammy ngayon kung hindi dahil kay Sandro.

Nicole: Hindi ko mapigilan na magtampo, okay? This is the first time that happened na hindi man lang sya nagsasabi ng kahit ano sakin. I feel like she's distancing herself.

Zeus: Maybe she just needs some time to breathe.

Zion: You know that she went through a lot.

Nicole: Yun na nga eh? Hindi ba't mas lalo nya akong kailangan ngayon coz' she went through a lot?!

Zeus: She has so much on her plate right now, Nics. Hayaan na muna natin sya. Sammy knows that we are always here for her.

Ewan. Sa totoo lang, hindi ko na alam ang iisipin ko. I'm worried too kahit pa nagtatampo ako.

Zion: Looks like Sandro is taking good care of her kaya wag na muna natin syang isipin.

Zeus: Zayn has a point. Sandro is there for her. Why don't you go on a date or vacation out of town? Baka exhausted ka na rin sa trabaho kaya ganyan ka mag-react.

And maybe he's right. Baka nga sobrang stressed na ako sa trabaho dahil sa kaliwa't kanan na contract drafting and review. Especially, two companies are about to merge. Speaking of which, bakit tuloy pa rin ang merging ng DLV-GC at SEF kung canceled na ang arranged marriage ni Sammy at Zeus? Something is off, right?
