SAMANTHA's POV

I woke up and felt someone staring at me. The space on the bed beside me is already empty. I tried to sit with my one eye open and yawned.

Sandro: Good morning, Samantha.

Samantha: Oh fck!

Sandro: Tsk tsk tsk. No cursing, please. Hindi bagay sayo.

Samantha: You scared me!

He chuckled and took a sip of his tea. I noticed that he was already dressed. Wearing his usual polo shirt, but this time, he was wearing shorts.

Samantha: What time is it?

He checked his watch and gazed at me.

Sandro: Uhmmm.... 10am?

Samantha: 10am?! Bakit hindi mo ako ginising?!

I quickly stood up from bed and he just laughed at me.

Samantha: What's funny?

Sandro: Just chill, okay? I got you.

Samantha: You said you have to leave by 4 or 5 am. Whatever your agenda is, you're late!

Sandro: The party is at 6 pm. I still have more time to do whatever I need to do.

Samantha: 6 pm?! Party?! A-anong party?

Sandro: It's my mom's birthday today, August 21. And you..... you will help me find a present for her.

Samantha: Am I...... am I g-going to meet her t-today?

Sandro: You will be meeting my dad, my brother, mama Meldy and-

Samantha: Y-you've got to be kidding me.

Sandro: Nope. Go ahead and take a shower para maka-alis na tayo.

Samantha: I don't have any spare clothes!

Sandro: Samantha. Relax!

He stood up and walked towards me. He was behind my back and he held on my shoulders. Then whispers:

Sandro: Open the closet in front of you, then on your left you'll see a paper bag. Those are your clothes from the hotel.

I slowly nod at him and he slightly push me.

Sandro: I'll wait for you downstairs.

Then he winked at me. I can't believe that I am about to meet the Marcoses today. Will Simon able to recognize me?

We both got out of the car and I saw the chopper from afar. It was getting ready and about to take off at anytime.

The wind blew hard and so the memories that flashes on my mind. I suddenly felt dizzy so I was trying to gently massage my head. I closed my eyes and the scenes were non-stop. It was blurry but I can hear my own voice calling my mom and dad.

I was surprised when someone held my arm. I glanced at him and I saw how worried he was.

Sandro: Samantha, what happen? Are you alright?

I'm about to speak up but then everything went blank.
