SAMANTHA's POV
Simon dragged me at some place and I didn't dare to ask any questions. No, actually it's not just a random place. Base from what I can see, it was a huge venue and looks like there was some kind of a party that was held in here. A lot of cars were parked and I can tell that there are many people inside the hall.
As we entered, I saw few familiar faces from politics and business industries. Is there some kind of celebration that I should be involved in but I am not aware of? The twins are not here in this event so I think this is something else.
After a few steps from the entrance, there I saw the Marcos family. Ah, so this gathering is something related to the Marcoses. While my eyes were wandering around to see what was going on, Simon moved his face closer to my ear and whispered:
Simon: Can you guess what's happening here?
Samantha: Oh, I have no idea.
He tapped my hand that was clang to his arm to get my attention, then he pointed to someone who was dancing to the music.
All I could see was his back but I am definitely sure who he is. Hindi ako pwedeng magkamali. His hairdo, those broad shoulders, the build of his body and his height, I memorize all of it.
He moved as the music plays and he was hugging someone. They were doing a slow dance and they look...... sweet.
I frowned when I saw Lex's face. Of course, it was her.
Maybe she noticed that I was here but she looked at me with excitement and she even smiled at me. That was odd. Is she that happy to see me? It seems that she was whispering something and I was astonished when he looks at my direction.
Our eyes met!
Sandro!
My heart starts pounding like crazy and I don't know how long I was standing here without moving. What is happening? The loud noises and the music even the people around us suddenly disappeared. Everything went on slowmo when our eyes met! All I could see was him!
I don't know how I get in front of him. It feels like we were both in the zone and all we can see is each other's faces. Someone clears a throat and that's when we get back to our senses.
Lex: Finally! You're here!
Samantha: W-wait. Are you expecting me?
Lex: I do! I asked Zeus and Simon to bring you here!
Samantha: R-really? W-why?
Lex: Hmm. Let's say..... you just got invited!
Samantha: What-
Lex: Shh! Too many questions! Oh by the way, I would like you to meet Sandro. And Sandro, this is Samantha.
Lex grabbed my arm and she did the same to Sandro. Then she forces us to move closer to each other like almost hugging. What the fudge?!
