SAMANTHA's POV
Gail: Ma'am Samantha, Don Leon is now ready to see you.
Samantha: Hi Gail, kamusta ang lolo?
Gail: Ok naman po sya from the past few weeks.
Samantha: No signs of anything?
Gail: So far wala naman po.
Samantha: Do you have any idea why he wants to see me?
Gail: Wala po ma'am.
Samantha: Thanks Gail.
Gail: Anytime po.
Samantha: Oh by the way, just call me Samantha okay? Or Sam. Cut the "ma'am" please.
Gail: Eh ma'am kasi po-
Samantha: You are my lolo's secretary not mine. He's your boss not me. Isa pa, hindi ako teacher.
Gail: O-okay po.
I just got back from Cebu and pagkalapag na pagkalapag pa lang ng eroplanong sinasakyan ko, nakatanggap agad ako ng tawag mula sa sekretarya ng lolo ko. He summoned me and I actually don't know why. So I have no choice but to go straight to his mansion after that phone call.
Huminga muna ako ng malalim bago ko buksan ang pintuan ng opisina nya. There I saw him sitting on his chair while drinking his favorite whiskey.
Leon: Hi iha, come in.
Parang kailan lang naman kami huling nagkita pero parang ang laki ng pinagbago ng mukha at katawan nya. The man in front of me aged.
Samantha: Hi lolo dad. How are you?
Leon: I'm good, nieta.
Samantha: You don't look fine at all. May sakit ka ba?
Leon: I'm still strong as a bull. Don't worry about me. How was your trip in Cebu?
Samantha: Everything went well, it's tiring but promising.
Leon: Bueno.
Samantha: Is that it? Pinatawag mo lang ba ako para kamustahin?
Leon: I ask you to come because I have something to show you and...
He looked at me in the eye and continued.
Leon: I wanted to ask you something.
Samantha: O-kay?
I frowned at him when he handed me a white envelop. This must be serious.
Samantha: What is this for? Hindi naman siguro ito yung sahod ko, di ba?
I joked. Why do I suddenly feel nervous?
Leon: Open it.
I gulped when I opened the envelope and I was stunned for a few seconds. It was a set of photographs... of me.... and... Sandro... in Cebu.
Samantha: I don't understand. Why do you have this photos? Did you asked someone to tail on me? You're invading my privacy.
Leon: Why are you with that young Marcos?
