SANDRO's POV

Liza: Hi, Sandro!

My mom was waving to the camera. She started a video call which she doesn't normally do especially if it's nothing urgent.

Liza: How are you and Samantha? Where is she?

Ah, now I get it. She's calling just to check on my girlfriend.

Liza: I miss her already. Give her the phone, dali!

She excitedly commanded me.

Sandro: Ma. She's in the comfort room.

Liza: Is she sick again? Is she nahihilo and nasusuka? Is she pregnant? Are you guys going to give us your dad an apo already?!

Sandro: Ma!

Saway ko sa kanya.

Sandro: Baka marinig ka ni Samantha.

Liza: Why? I didn't say anything bad. I just want an apo.

She rolled her eyes at me, and then she passed the phone to my father.

Bong: Oh, hi anak! Don't mind your mom. She's just stressed and tired so she's craving for something different.

What the hell?!

Sandro: Seriously, pops?

Bong: You boys are big na kasi that's why gusto na namin ng apo. We miss to have kids around and naiinggit na kami kay manang Imee.

Liza: Son, I want girl ha?

Sandro: Ma. That's too soon, okay?

Liza: Get married na so you can have kids na.

Sandro: It's not that easy, Mom, you know that.

Liza: Nah. You can afford to raise a child already.

Sandro: Pops?

Baling ko sa tatay ko para humingi ng tulong but he just shrugged his shoulders. We still have a lot to face and conquer.

And my parents? They are being supportive to give their consent na tumira si Samantha sa bahay ko sa Ilocos, without any question asked. Halata namang botong-boto sila sa kanya. I mean, I can't blame them. She's just so perfect. Did I say it right? Or mali ako? Manugang ba? Argghhh.. Sometimes, Tagalog and Ilocano language is confusing me.

Liza: Wait, have you told her about your surprise?

Sandro: Hindi pa po.

I almost forget about it.

Liza: I bet matutuwa sya, kasi it will be your first time to travel abroad ng magkasama.

Well, I hope so.
