Twenty Two

SANDRO's POV

The party has begun and I'm waiting for Samantha to come out of the guest room. I checked my watch and saw someone on the corner of my eyes going upstairs. She went in my direction and I couldn't stop lifting my face. I scanned her from head to toe and smiled at me.

Lex: Miss me?

Sandro: Yeah, of course I do.

She gave me a hug and kissed me on my cheeks.

Lex: I'm sorry for leaving you behind.

Sandro: I'm sorry too, for being such a jerk.

Lex: Apology accepted.

Sandro: Should we start over?

Lex: Can we?

Sandro: Why not? You know that I will do everything to make things work.

Lex: I missed you so much, Love!

Sandro: Thank you for coming back to me.

She gave me another hug and I hugged her back. Then I gave her a quick peck on her lips since no one is around.

I started to hold her hand and was surprised when I saw Samantha at the door and staring at us.

SAMANTHA's POV

I slowly opened the door and couldn't believe what I witnessed. I was watching them the whole time and they didn't even notice that I was here. I should have been hiding myself or closing the door again but my body was stiffened.

Sandro and Lex hugged and kissed in front of me. She even called her Love. They are........... they are getting back together!

I tried to hold my tears as I swallowed a lump on my throat. My heart was racing but felt the pain at the same time, like it was broken into a million pieces.

Didn't he just tell me the other day that he likes me?!

Didn't he just kiss me in this room before the party started?!

He even persuaded me to come with him to this place for what?! To show me this?!

Sandro started to hold her hand and he was startled when he felt my presence. Maybe he didn't expect me to be here, witnessing their time together. I faked a smile when they both turned at me.

Lex: Hi Samantha! You're here!

I saw how Sandro gulped and I couldn't take my eyes off them, holding each other's hand. He slowly let go of her and Lex walks in front of me and hugged me.
