SANDRO's POV

Lex: Love, you're back!

Sandro: Hi.

Lex: How's Ilocos?

Sandro: It's just the same. Still good.

Lex: Good? Just good?

Sandro: Uhm-hmm.

Lex: Are you alright? Is there something wrong? You look bothered.

Sandro: No, I'm fine. Maybe I'm just tired.

Lex: Let's go on a date?

Sandro: Yeah, sure.

Lex: I missed you so much!

My girlfriend hugs me from the back. She quickly visits me here in my condo when she heard that I arrived from Ilocos and now she's here.

Sandro: How's work?

Lex: Tiring but I enjoyed it.

Sandro: That's the important part, as long as you are happy with what you're doing, kahit nakakapagod.

Lex: You know what? Let's just stay here since it's already late. You look tired, galing ka pa sa byahe.

Sandro: That's a good idea.

Lex: Pero aalis pa rin tayo bukas, okay?

Sandro: Sure.

I don't feel like doing anything. My mind was so confused and my body was so tired. I don't know what's happening to me.

Lex: Are you hungry? I'll cook you some food.

Sandro: Come here.

She sits beside me and I embrace her.

Sandro: Let's just go to sleep.

Lex: Are you sure? You don't want to eat? How about watching a movie?

Sandro: Not today. Sorry.

Lex: Are you sure you're alright?

She put the back of her palm on my forehead.

Lex: Wala ka naman sakit.

Sandro: I told you, I'm just tired. Could you stay and sleep here with me?

Lex: Oo naman.

I held her hand and kissed it. No doubt, this is the girl I love.

Lex: What bothers you, Love?

Sandro: I don't know.

Lex: Napapadalas ata ang uwi mo sa Ilocos? Ano bang meron don?

Sandro: Well, you can clearly see what I am doing. I'm helping my father and my Kakailians. Community work of course.

Lex: Baka naman may iba kang girlfriend don.

I chuckled. This is insane. The face of this amnesia girl flashes on my mind.

Lex: What's funny?

Sandro: That's a silly question and you know the answer.

Lex: Ah, baka you're cheating on me na ha?

Sandro: That's not gonna happen.

Am I lying to myself now?

Sandro: I'll be back in Ilocos in two days.
