SAMANTHA's POV

Liza: Are you enjoying yourself, hija?

Samantha: Yes po, tita. Thank you po for inviting me here.

Liza: I'm glad na nakasama ka na sa amin ngayon. You should come with us too sa Baguio kapag nakauwi na tayo sa Pilipinas.

Samantha: Sige po.

Liza: But that's too soon kasi may iba pa ata kayong pupuntahan ni Sandro and baka matagalan kayong umuwi.

Samantha: P-po? Ibang... pupuntahan?

Liza: Oh, he hasn't told you?

Sandro: Hindi pa, ma. Surprise sana eh?

Biglang sumulpot si Sandro sa sala at natatawang tumingin sa amin. He was shaking his head coz' his surprise was ruined. Anong surprise ba yun?

Liza: Oops. Sorry!

Nag-peace sign sa kanya si tita Liza and she smiled na parang nagpapacute for him to forgive her.

Liza: I'll leave you guys para makapag-usap kayo, okay?

She tapped my shoulders before she left us two at nakita ko pa ang pagtango nila sa isa't-isa.

Samantha: Anong surprise? Meron pa tayong ibang pupuntahan bukod sa Japan?

Sandro: Well, yeah.

Samantha: Saan?

Sandro: Uhmm...

He sat at the edge armrest of the sofa while he crossed his arms.

Sandro: One of my friends invited me sa wedding nya in Spain.

Samantha: S-spain?

Sandro: Yeah. And then my other friend is celebrating his birthday in Turkey tapos-

Samantha: Meron pa?

Sandro: I have a get-together that I need to attend in London.

Samantha: H-hold on. Spain, Turkey, and then London?

Sandro: Yes. We will travel those places in two weeks.

Samantha: Two weeks?! Seryoso ka ba? How about my studies?

Sandro: I bet I can make an arrangement with MMSU.

Samantha: But I don't have enough money para magtravel ng ganong katagal.

Sandro: All expenses paid, baby. Akong bahala sayo, okay?

I just nodded while I bit my lower lip. So eto pala yung surprise na sinasabi ni tita Liza. How thoughtful of Sandro para isama nya ako sa mga ganon nyang lakad. Hindi pa rin nga ako makapaniwala na kasama nila ako ngayon dito sa Japan, tapos meron na agad kasunod. I mean, I've been to some places abroad dahil nag-aral din naman ako sa England but... hindi ko maipaliwanag yung saya na nararamdaman ko ngayon.

Sandro: Are you willing to travel the world with me, Emerald?

I was dumbfounded with that question, especially when he lent his hand like he was asking me to have a dance with him.

Ano pa bang masasabi ko? Eh mukhang planado nya na lahat and I have no excuses to say no.

Samantha: Of- of course!

Sandro: Great! So after Japan, we are flying to Spain.

Tumayo sya nang iabot ko ang kamay ko sa kanya and he was about to hug me nang bigla ulit may magsalita.
