From Monster to Human

Sarah

Music played as I entered Sam's place. There were a lot of people helping Sam fix his boat. After sorting out a few things with the Flag Smashers and getting back the shield (unofficially) we decided to celebrate our small victory. It was a small party at Sam's boat, but the vibe was magnificent. I was greeted by his nephews, shortly Bucky parked his car and joined us with a cake in his hand, he looked happy.

"You smile, pretty boy?" I asked him.

"I guess." he shrugged. 

Sam came out of the cabin when he saw us, "Hey! I wasn't expecting you both." he shook Bucky's hand.

"We're just here to help," I said "and maybe eat that delicious pizza." I pointed to Sam's sister bringing a huge pizza.

"Oh! Meet my sister, Sarah." he introduced her.

Sarah hugged me and shook Bucky's hand, I noticed Sam pouting. "Someone's being a little protective!" I commented. 

"Shut it!" Sam lightly chuckled.

A pipe started to hiss and Sam went to fix it, Bucky followed him and interrupted, he did something with a wrench and the pipe was fixed. This surprised Sam and he looked at Bucky, who just flexed his strength. 

"Well, let's get to work!" I rolled up my sleeves and Sarah showed me a stuck plank. I lifted it up with my hand and she looked impressed.

"What do you eat, girl?" she smiled.

"Nothing much." I shrugged it off.

I continued to help fix Sam's boat, I made Sarah my new friend and she told me about Sam's childhood to which I laughed and Bucky teased Sam about it. Sam's nephew helped me prepare salad and when the work was over, we all sat together, drank beer and enjoyed. Bucky picked up his beer bottle and headed to his car, I tapped his shoulder and he motioned me to follow him.

We reached his car and he stayed silent, he searched for something. "You aren't gonna kidnap me, are you?" I asked, breaking the silence.

He chuckled, "Wouldn't think of it. I wanted to give Sam.....this." he took out a huge metal briefcase. "A suit for him made by the Wakandans."

"That's...great!" I commented.

"I hope he likes. His suit is destroyed and this suit.....it's just durable for any damages, I guess. I wanted the Captain America colours, so I could have someone to call my...best friend..again." he lightly smiled.

"Oh Bucky!" I smiled and patted his shoulder. I got a call, "I'll join you in bit." I said and he went back to the boat.

I went back to the boat and heard Sarah saying "Your friend is just awesome!" 

Sam frowned and turned to Bucky, "Hey! I told you! Don't flirt with my sister." he said, "If you do it again, I have Carlos cut you up and feed you to the fish."

"Um, Sam," Sarah said, "I was talking about Y/N."

I laughed, "People tend to like me, Sam. Don't be mad at my charm." 

"Yeah! Yeah!" he rolled his eyes.

"I gotta go find some good hotel." Bucky stood up.

"Why? You can stay here." Sarah said.

Sam gave me a look. "I-Ok." Bucky smiled.

"Y/N, you can stay here too. No need to find a hotel." Sarah turned to me.

"I'd love to, Sarah but there's is something important. I actually have to go to Kamar Taj. There's a problem, a big problem." I explained.

"Kamar Taj? The magic school?" Sam asked.

"Technically, it is a magic school but kinda no too. There's magic problem so Wong, The Sorcerer Supreme called for my help." I told them.

"But I thought Strange is the Sorcerer Supreme." Bucky wondered.

"I don't know, maybe he was." I said.

"What's strange?" asked Sarah.

"My life." I replied.

"Hey!" Bucky hit me lightly and I chuckled.

"One question, Y/N. Is a sorcerer a wizard without a hat?" Sam asked.

"I....guess. Why would you ask me such question?" I said in confusion.

"Nah! Nothing!" Sam answered, looking happy at Bucky, who just rolled his eyes.

"I'll take my leave. All the best!" I greeted them and left Sam's place.
