And many nights again did pass
From time the men had last yet cast
Their eyes on hold their sent to fend
And fight to save to bitter end.Till finally Jubie stops and says
We near the end of forest ways
Where first I saw the lair set
That all the fiendish ways abet. Now silent men yet go to place
Not driven hard in further haste.
And mist from all their cloaks does pore
As men prepare for sneaking chore.Their footfalls muffled well by act
Of force they use to hide their tact,
And eyes of men not long would gaze
But quickly flit from place their laidTo other course ignoring fact
These men in front of faces act.
Then slowly men did wind their ways
Yet down in front of bandits cave.Outside a guard does present stand
Who just with magic wave of hand.
Does fall asleep by Tarlson's power
With mighty force and ancient glower.Inside the place the four now go
Into the cave their foes abode
And see yet many men their laid
Asleep in place the bandits made. But still they silent walk as air
And place of danger hasty dare.
But soon they knew they trouble find
When seeing tunnels splay like vinesIn different course distinct spread
That caused the hearts of men to fledge.
But Candor spoke as head of group
And told the men with little ruth."We must each go along a way
To see what secrets deep yet lay
So surprise fails to fall on head
And men can shun impending dread."And all agree a course they'll wind
To see what things that each may find.
