The two around the other go
And both to battle high do goad
Their ally make the first of moves
And strike with power as such behooves. Then sudden Cable jumped and span
Like whirling saw his blade now ran
And Candor quickly dodge attack
Not even letting blades be clashed. As though a whirlwind through the trees
That hacks and saws and shakes the leaves
Was Cable's body wrought by style
Of blade he practiced long and wild. But never blade did touch his foe
Though whirling power great was stowed
In all the jumping moves he made
As form he long did practice bade. Then sudden Candor struck at last
Across the head of Cable lashed
His wooden handle tightly held
And battle quick the violence quelled. As Cable laid now clutching head
From which the wounded warrior bled.
Then sudden stood Tarlson and bade
That help to warrior quickly gave."Yet stay your hand your point you made.
And hurt to boy you've justly gave
But one of few's already hurt
You'll harden all our future work."And Jubie agreed and spoke his peace
To put the men at better ease."The duel you fought's to loud at night
You'll warn the bandits of coming fight."And both did nod when hearing words
So up from battle men now stirred.
To Tarlson Cable quickly went
So man could heal the wound he's lent. Then Jubie ticked when seeing thing
The grief that foolish duel bring."And right before we're sent to move
Along the night as task behooved."
But still he let the healer work
To try and patch his fabled hurt.
