From binds the hunters quickly cleft
And taken fast from place he's kept.
Inside the night to edge of town
To edge of forest man was found.From head his blind was quick released
And ropes around his arms were eased.
So man could rise and fly away
To town where rest of folk yet lay.To both his captors man did cast
His eye's that silent question ask
To elder man and desert rogue
Who current time in town yet bode.Who present hid their face in mask
To try and help their scheming task.
But haste did quickly steal the words
That sight inside the man had spurred.So fast to feet the hunter sped
And yard of captors quickly fled.
Till far at last he's out of sight
And hidden well by shade of night.The Kelan turned and spoke his words
In hopes that doubts he owned were heard."I hope this plan that elder owns
Will help a better blade to hone
Against the bandits coming soon
And not compound these people's doom."And Varik old but filled with life
Whose eyes did twinkle very bright
A grin of mischief cast his way.
