And on the seven went for days
With peasant men they made their way
To place their warring deed was bid
And blood for price of gold was bid.And every night the group now break
When sun was low and day was late.
To bid the passing day be done
Along the course the warriors run.And Jubie the woodsman fair and strong
Who knew the forest's lore and song
Did go yet forth to roam in woods
Where gather tinder dry and good. And all the men aspersions cast
That deep in night might dangers pass
And leave him deep without their help
Yet far from place they current dwelt. But Jubie spoke defending way
And all the knowledge man was gave.
Against the grief of troubled lot
"The thing we want is briefly soughtAnd very easy gained by hand
Of man who knows the lay of land
Along with all the forest ways
That path that rest of men are gave. For brief I'll go and quick return
To men that only short I spurn."And off to forest man then flew
Where both the trees and shadows grew
At end of day at setting sun
Yet forth to risky plight he runs. And long the rest of warriors wait
Until the passing time abates
And come again to tents they cast
As long as nightly rein does last. Then Sabio rises up from pace
To speak and voice concerns in haste."To woods I go to world of leaves
In fear some danger ally grieves.
Don't fear I'll quick return again
To rest of camp and warring men. "Then off he flew his speed more swift
Than any mortal men are gift.Heed this warning padawans never leave on a mission without taking backup no matter how small you think it may be- Ashram Dreyus
