Nakahilera na ngayon kami dito, para umpisahan ang pangatlong round.
Katabi ko si Naya. Napansin ko na nag umpisa na yung ibang estudyante pero si Naya ay nakatayo lang at nakatitig sa mga potion.
Habang ako heto kinakabahan, dahil wala naman akong masyadong alam tungkol sa mga potion.
Mukhang eto pang round na ito ang magiging dahilan para bumagsak ako.
Hindi naman na ako nagsayang ng oras pa at kinuha ko na yung isang potion na nasa harapan ko.
Bali lima kasi yung potion.
Binuksan ko ito at inamoy, wala naman akong maamoy na kakaiba.
And ang tricky din ng round na ito dahil mukhang ginawa talaga nilang colorless and odorlesa yung mga potion para mahirapan talaga kami sa pagpili.
Kasi kung hindi nila iyon ginawa ay, mabilis lang naming matatapos ang round na ito.
Tahimik ko lang namang ino-obserbahan yung mga potion ng biglang magsalita si Naya.
"Xander, may tanong ako sayo." Saad niya sa akin.
"Ano naman iyon?" Curious kong tanong sa kaniya, dahil hindi naman yan basta basta nagtatanong ng walang dahilan.
"Para naman hindi naman ako masyadong ma boring sa ginagawa natin, I have a riddle for you." She said.
"Okay, bet." I answered.
I don't know kung anong trip niya, pero papatulan ko na.
"Okay, may karera ang ahas at kuneho. Sa tingin mo sino ang mauuna sa kanilang dalawa?" Tanong niya.
Ang dali naman.
"Edi yung kuneho." Confident kong sagot.
"Bakit?" Tanong niya habang inaamoy niya isa isa yung mga potion.
"Eh kasi, kapag tumalon na yung kuneho malaking hakbang na agad yon, so mauuna yung kuneho." Sagot ko.
Hoping na tama na, kasi yung ahas gagapang pa eh.
"Wrong. You may be thinking na mabagal yung ahas kasi gumagapang ito." Sagot niya.
"Exactly." Sagot ko. Which is true naman diba.
"No, the snake won the race." Saad niya habang sinusuri ang hawak niyang potion.
Kung akala niyo ay wala akong ginagawa, iniinspect ko din yung mga potion habang nakikipag-usap kay Naya.
Multi tasker kasi ako. Sana kayo rin.
"Bakit nanalo yung ahas?" Nagtataka kong tanong.
"It's just a simple riddle, the snake bit the rabbit." Naya answered while smiling.
"Ha?" I asked. Dumbfounded.
"The snake bit the rabbit before the race, the snake knew he/she couldn't win. So, he/she take the easiest route to success. By cheating." She explained while pouring the potion she's holding to the bird.
"But, is that okay? is it valid?" I asked.
"Yes, do you even recall me saying rules of the race?" She asked.
"Oh, wala nga. You just said they were in a race." I answered.
"Yes, because there's no rules in the game or race. The snake has the opportunity to bit the rabbit and cheat." She replied.
"But, kahit na walang rules. Is the snake doesn't have conscience?" I added.
"It is just the same with humans and other living beings. If we have the opportunity and if there is no rules, we can do whatever we want. Kahit nga may rules, hindi rin naman iyon sinusunod ng karamihan hindi ba?" She said.
"And the thing is, kapag na called out sila for doing such thing, they will reason out na 'ginagawa rin naman ng iba eh' that type of thing." She added.
Oh, she's right. Maybe I am seeing the world in a wrong perspective.
I was still looking at her as she stopped pouring potion to the bird.
The bird did not die. It means she passed.
"Oh, I passed. Maybe you should pour the potion na rin." Nakangiti niyang saad.
I did what she told me. I poured the potion I am holding, and the bird didn't also die.
I passed.
Akala ko ay katapusan ko na sa round na 'to. Buti na lang malakas kapit ko sa itaas.
Hindi niya ako pinabayaan.
Sumunod naman na ako kay Naya na umupo sa harap. Dahil yung ibang Alpha ay hindi pa tapos.
Pinapanuod lang namin sila habang nahihirapan sa pag identify ng potion.
Ang sumunod na natapos ay si Khali.
But, ilang minuto lang ay natapos na rin si Andy. Next ay si Cristy, and ang pang huli na natapos ay si Viel.
Nang matapos na sila ay umupo na rin sila sa tabi namin at pinanuod ang ibang estudyante.
As we watch the other students, we notice that tatlo na lang ang natitira na students na nag ko compete sa Vampire clan, which is ironic kasi sila yung nag held ng competition but mukhang matatalo pa sila.
Nagmamasid lang kami while ginagawa ng tatlo yung thing nila, and then one of the student accidentally pick the poisonous one, she poured the potion to the bird and nagulat siya.
We are also shocked kasi naging black yung ibon, ofcourse dahil she accidentally pick the wrong one.
But, the other problem is natapon yung potion sa kamay niya and the next thing we knew she was screaming in pain while the healers are rushing towarda her.
Kahit vampire ito, at mabilis mag heal ang sugat iba pa rin kapag lason, they heal slower if poison ang nakasakit sa kanila.
And we are confused because the healers are having a hard time curing her.
Sabay sabay naman kaming napalingon kay Naya ng bigla siyang tumayo and she walk towards that very student.
"Move." She ordered the healers to move.
And tumabi naman agad yung mga healers dahil sa lamig at lalim ng pagkakasabi na yon ni Naya.
And then she placed her palm with that student poisoned hand, and suddenly a light green came out of Naya's hand and that student hand is now slowly going back to normal.
And after a minute that student hand is now cured. Parang walang nangyari sa kamay niya.
And then bumalik na si Naya sa upuan niya pagkagamot niya doon sa babae.
"How the hell did you do that?" I asked her.
"Oh, no need to be shock its just a normal thing." Natatawa niyang sagot.
Normal thing my ass.
Ngayon lang ako nakakita ng bampira na kayang magpagaling ng iba. All I knew is that when they get hurt they automatically heal.
She is really an odd fellow.
