Haein did not go into the room with the altar, because he was afraid that if he saw the photo of Jiyoo with a ribbon near the frame again, he would not restrain his emotions and burst into tears there. So, he walked into the dining room, hoping to follow Jisoo at least from afar until he can control himself completely.

There were almost no people in the dining room. Only two girls that Haein recognized. They worked with Jiyoo at the club and one guy with several empty soju bottles in front of him. The thick hair of a friend betrayed him, and Haein did not immediately dare to approach him. Common sense told him to talk to Jungsuk to discuss how they would justify themselves to Jisoo about how they knew her mother. But he couldn't be so cruel to him. Even looking at his back and the way he non-stop poured his drink and immediately drained a glass, Haein froze halfway.

"Hyung," he called out to the guy, biting his lips as he clenched his fists that helped him hold on.

Jungsuk slowly turned to him with a face that was red and wet from tears and stared at his friend hazy from extreme intoxication.

"And here he has come," he chuckled softly and tried to get up.

Staggering crookedly in place, he somehow managed to walk towards Haein, who was breathing deeply in anticipation. Whatever Jungsuk does now, he will accept it.

"How dare you show up here?" he asked loudly with his tongue fluttering and brandished a weak fist that only broke the air.

"You have no idea how sorry I am," Haein replied and continued to stand motionless as the next swing of a fist followed, this time reaching the goal. A strong punch hit on the jaw of the guy, who continued to bite his lips and accept his friend's anger. He deserved everything that Jungsuk wanted to do to him now.

"No, I don't!" he shouted, grabbing the collar of Haein's T-shirt and wrapping the fabric around his fist so that Haein wouldn't dare to hide his guilty look from him. "I loved her with all my heart, and you took ... took ... argh!"

Haein didn't say anything, because he did not know if there were any words that could somehow ease the pain of a friend. Even if they existed, any consolation from his mouth would not help. Jungsuk knew perfectly well who killed Jiyoo.

"Hyung, please, not here," Haein whispered, noticing that they were beginning to attract the attention of visitors and staff. "Not in front of her," he added, with a look begging him to calm down and at least spare Jisoo. She won't survive if she finds out now.

"I had to stop, noona," Jungsuk muttered, bursting into another wave of tears, and whimpered like a little child, continuing to hold his friend by the collar. "I could have done it, but I didn't."

"What are you doing here?" Jaehyun asked them angrily as he abruptly approached the guys and changed his gaze from one to the other. He still couldn't figure out who this Jungsuk was. This guy came to the hospital with one of Jisoo's mother's colleagues and didn't leave the building all night. And Jaehyun didn't like at all the fact that Haein knew him. Something was going on here.

"Don't interfere," Haein answered briefly, gently removing his friend's fingers from his T-shirt, and would like to add something else to spit out the nasty sensations at least at Jaehyun, but then turned his head, he saw Jisoo standing in the doorway.

The girl looked at them with a thrill in her eyes, apparently wondering the same question. Once again, he felt guilty about her. As hard as it is for him to be around Jisoo right now, Haein had to stay cool. At least for the sake of that Jaehyun would not separate him preventing the fight and acting like he's the only one who cares about Jisoo.

"Baby," he whispered under his breath and ran up to her, not noticing how Jungsuk, barely standing on his feet, hobbled to his table to continue from where he left off. "Forgive us. Hyung had too much drink," he justified himself, hugging the girl, who accepted the warmth of his body and buried her face in his chest.
