Until the end of their stay at grandma's house, Haein did not want to admit what they were hiding from Jisoo under any threat, and the girl even praised them for such a harmonious tandem. She believed that the guy would not do stupid things again because she trusted his grandmother. She, saying goodbye to Jisoo, once again tightly hugged her fragile body, again causing her to cry, and instructed her to eat more so that her bones would not stick out.

"She said she'd fatten me up in a week," Jisoo chuckled as they boarded the train taking them back to Seoul on a dark evening.

She didn't want to think about what hardships awaited her in the cold, prickly embrace of the capital, so Jisoo continued to talk about her impressions of the grandmother, her home, and the city. Resting her head on Haein's strong shoulder, she smiled sadly and couldn't admit to the guy that she would like to stay there for another day.

"I'm so glad that you enjoyed the trip," Haein said, gently stroking her palm, and could not stop her heart pounding loudly from excitement. "To be honest, I was waiting for a more romantic moment, but I can't take it anymore," he grinned and put his hand in his jeans pocket to get the right thing out of there. "And you can't run away from a moving car without an answer," he laughed softly.

Jisoo raised her head to the guy and looked at him warily. His ears were bloodshot and became crimson, his voice trembled as his hand fumbled in his pocket.

"What? What did you do again?" she burst out, to which Haein clicked his tongue offendedly.

"Haven't done it yet. We will do it together," he smiled slyly, finally pulling out his grandmother's ring from his pocket. "After school. When you turn eighteen," he whispered, looking fascinated at the girl staring at him in confusion. "If you want to," he added shyly and decided that Jisoo's silence was not the best sign, because she did not smile or even scold him.

So he knelt before her on one knee, resting it on the floor in the aisle between the rows of seats, and raised his hand to her, between the thumb and forefinger of which a ring was squeezed.

"Let's get married when the time is right. Then they won't be able to separate us," he said, barely hearing his own voice trembling with rapid heartbeat and deafening excitement. "It's grandma's ring, honestly. I didn't steal it," he remarked with a grin to show that he was not so bad and that he was serious about his offer.

There were few passengers in the car, but those who were, with bated breath, followed the teenagers in anticipation of a response from the girl.

"Haein... Are you an idiot?" was the first thing Jisoo asked, trying to calm her trembling hands to give him a slap on the back of the head. She didn't know how such a stupid idea could have come into his head, but worst of all, she didn't know any other answer to give him than a positive one.

"Your idiot," he shrugged, starting to worry that Jisoo might be turned down.

Last night, when Jisoo was busy trying to pick a persimmon fruit from a tree, she was so busy doing it that she didn't hear Haein and his grandmother talking on the bench in the yard. He told her about how much he loves this girl and is afraid of losing her. Grandmother understood his fear and was not opposed to Haein getting married so early. Therefore, without hesitation, she promised him to find her ring, which she wanted to give to her son. He at one time did not have time to legitimize their relationship with Haein's mother.

"So will you give me an answer?" he asked timidly after a few minutes of her silence, broken only by the loud whispering of passengers, and felt very awkward from his posture on one knee.

Jisoo was in no hurry to say anything, biting her lower lip, and Haein was waiting for at least some reaction from her, so he carefully stared at her beautiful face, waiting for her to say "Yes" to him.
