"You'll soon get a hole on your phone screen from your finger," Haein smirked, touched by how cute looks Jisoo updating the page of the official website of the ballet academy every second.
The results will come out only in fifteen minutes, but this did not stop the girl. And no matter how much she told him all morning about how gorgeous she performed, that the teachers did not even skimp on compliments, Jisoo could not hide her excitement.
"After the first round, we will be given a specific task for casting in the second one, I want to find out as soon as possible in order to start preparing," she justified herself without raising her head from the screen.
Haein sat next to her at her desk during recess, and she couldn't tell him how grateful she was to the guy for supporting her at such an important moment for her. Both of them did not communicate with classmates who were buzzing among themselves for the whole classroom, and it seemed that the two of them were going against the whole world.
"All right, give it here." Haein brazenly took an old smartphone and put it in his pants pocket, smiling like a cat.
"Hey, give it back," Jisoo protested and began to pull him by the wide short sleeve of his shirt.
He shook his head, not looking at the girl, and continued to grin, as if he had done a prank that amused his inner prankster.
"I'll give it back after class," he shrugged, laughing at Jisoo's attempts to rip out his sleeve's fabric.
"Please, Haei-i-in," she called him drawlingly.
The guy's knees trembled from the sweet voice of a classmate and his Adam's apple moved from swallowing saliva too often. Playing with Jisoo always meant losing to himself, as after their sleepover, he was counting down the hours of how long he could last until the moment when he pounced on her like a hungry animal. And as if knowing how she affects him, Jisoo without hesitation began to put her hand in his pocket, smiling maliciously.
"What are you doing?!" he hissed, lowering his head, and looked at the giggling girl, who seemed not at all embarrassed by her fingers at too close distance from his dignity.
"Jaehyun?"
Jisoo's answer surprised him. He did not immediately notice that her gaze was directed towards the door. Her smile was slowly replaced by excitement in her eyes, though her facial muscles were relaxed and cold. Turning his head quickly, Haein saw a boy greeting his classmates. Among them was also Mingyu, who had been previously chatting with his girlfriend. Jaehyun was hugging his old friend tightly and Haein could see that this guy was wearing their school uniform.
He was finally able to see the person he hated with all his guts, and his fists were unconsciously clenched in preparation for the blow. Haein pushed off his chair noisily, slowly getting to his feet, and Jisoo hurried to stop him. There was no doubt that he understood who it was. Classmates began to turn around one by one in their direction, which made her feel awkward. Because Jaehyun noticed them too. He watched as Haein glared at him like he was trying to summon his super power of laser throwing from his eyes, and Jisoo held onto his forearm, whispering to him not to do anything.
Jaehyun smiled at them, knowing well who the guy was. He also knew that the new kid was the reason why his friend had a small scar on his eyebrow. But despite this, he approached the back desks without removing his colorful smile.
"Hi, Jisoo," he said, brazenly ignoring the way Haein's ears were turning red with anger.
"What are you doing here?" she asked in a barely audible voice, not wanting to put on a show for her classmates, who all instantly fell silent, staring at the three of them.
