"What's wrong with you?" Jisoo shouted at the guy, pushing him in the chest, and with an angry step walked towards the parking lot.
There was absolutely no desire to get on a scooter with Haein and go somewhere with him, and she would gladly leave him here to run to the dance hall and rehearse a little. But she needed to talk to him about Mingyu, even if Hyeyoon didn't need her help anymore. Strangely, Jaehyun wanted to support her in this. He was never an altruist, and he treated Hyeyoon as indifferently as possible.
"He would have known about it anyway," Haein excused himself, not one bit sorry about telling Jaehyun that he and Jisoo were living together. One less secret on his shoulders.
"Now his parents will know about it," Jisoo replied, standing next to the scooter and taking her time to put on her helmet.
She didn't want to end the conversation there, even if only temporarily. She and Haein planned to go home, go out for dinner at some café, and then go for a walk near the river. Arrange an ordinary teenage date, and finally spend time alone without studying, working, and other experiences. But the mood was completely ruined.
"Let them know," he shrugged and stepped closer, realizing that his carelessness angered the girl more. "Let them know that you are not alone, that there is someone to take care of you," he added, squeezing her cheeks burning with anger with his palms, and tenderly looked into her eyes, from which sparks of rage poured.
Jisoo knew that Haein was right to some extent. She was fed up during her visits to Dalbi sometimes listening to Jaehyun's parents discuss with a calm soul that she and their son would go to Russia after school and live there with him. Several times she tried to tell them that this would never happen, but the fear of losing her daughter and being an unwanted guest in this house did not allow her to do this.
Jisoo didn't have exact plans for what she would do after graduation. She knew for sure that Jaehyun would leave for St. Petersburg, they were waiting for him there. And he did not hide the fact that he would like to take his daughter with him, hoping that this will convince Jisoo to join him. And her long-standing dream of studying at one of the best ballet colleges pulled her to a positive answer. Nothing was keeping her in Seoul now. Except for Haein.
"I understand that it's unpleasant for you that I hide you from them, Haein," she replied, calming her ardor a little, and allowed the guy to carefully stroke her face with his thumbs. "But I don't want them to do something to you that will tear us apart. They can," she muttered, not knowing how else to explain to Haein that she loves him so much that she is ready to take him and hide him from everyone so that no one gets him. So that no one can take him away from her.
"I can handle it, baby. I'm a big boy already," he smiled weakly and brought his face close to her to kiss until Jisoo retorted him again.
Haein didn't know if the Jeong family could be really dangerous, but he was well-trained. And as long as Jisoo continues to accept him, reach out to him, be there for him, and love him, he saw no problems.
"Don't think I'm not mad at you anymore because you didn't tell me about Mingyu," she said right into his lips before he touched them.
"Jisoo, are we really going to ruin today's date because of this idiot?" Haein sighed patiently, and a wave of questions about how to solve this problem with his former friend, which was also joined by the curiosity of Jaehyun and Hyeyoon, enveloped him again. He should have gone to Kyohwan right now and asked him for help to come up with something, but he didn't want to leave Jisoo in a resentful mood right now.
"I don't want to spoil anything. But don't you think I should have known?
"No, I don't think so," Haein replied instantly, not even wanting to think about it. This only made her more angry. "Mingyu's life, his problems, and his weakness should not concern us."
