Jisoo found it difficult to hide the ring on her finger. Sitting in class, she glanced at it now and then, feeling a light burden of responsibility for the fact that this jewelry belongs to Haein's grandmother, and it needs to be protected. The guy himself looked at the ring more as a confirmation that Jisoo now completely belongs to him, although she repeated this to him daily, convincing him that he is not sleeping and dreaming about her.

"What is this?"

The guy's gruff, husky voice pulled her out of her daydreaming thoughts, and Jisoo looked up, only noticing that the lesson was over. Jaehyun stood by her desk, glaring angrily down at her finger.

"Excuse me?" Jisoo asked sarcastically, not rushing to answer. She chuckled at her own thoughts that Jaehyun had grown bolder in her presence again since Haein had started basketball practice before the next game.

She and Haein were not going to hide their plans, but they didn't want to reveal them either, although Jisoo was sure that the first thing Haein would do when he came to school would run to brag to Jaehyun.

"What is that ring, Jisoo?" he repeated, continuing to stand in a demanding pose.

Jaehyun couldn't help but notice how the girl had her head in the clouds the whole lesson, twirling this piece of jewelry around her finger that she had never worn before. And he urgently needed to find out the answer to his question, since guesses about this deprived him of his mind.

"Wedding ring," Jisoo said confidently, staring at her ex with a piercing gaze and hoping that Jaehyun's reaction would be adequate.

"What?!"

A loud cry engulfed the entire classroom, and classmates who freely communicated with each other during the break instantly turned their heads in their direction. Jisoo didn't even flinch at his sonorous voice. It was naive to think that Jaehyun would just silently return to his place.

"From him?" he asked, not lowering the volume of his voice, and did not notice that he had become the center of everyone's attention.

"From who else?" Jisoo smirked haughtily and began to slowly get to her feet to quickly end this meaningless dialogue. She doesn't have to justify herself to Jaehyun, and she should have worked it out with him because when Haein gets back from training, he won't be as supportive of a classmate as she is. "We're ge..."

"Are you fucking crazy?" he yelled, not knowing how else to express his bewilderment.

It seemed that some nerve had burst in his head, preventing him from thinking sensibly and seeing clearly, as the girl's face became blurry due to a sharp pain piercing into his head. His whole body was shaking with anger, and Jaehyun didn't recognize himself because he didn't remember ever wanting to kill so badly in his life. He had never been a supporter of violence, and now he was afraid of himself because he was ready to cause physical pain to Jisoo.

"No, you must be stupidly joking, right?" he continued shouting while circling her desk to stand directly in front of Jisoo, and without waiting for her response, he grabbed both of her elbows sharply.

"Let me go, it hurts!" she yelled, trying to push away from Jaehyun, and looked back towards the door, afraid that if Haein saw this scene, they might get themselves in trouble again. "It doesn't have to concern you, Jaehyun. Let me go!"

"No, damn, it does! Are you out of your mind? Take off the ring, I'll shove it up his ass!" Jaehyun yelled, now frightening not only the girl herself, but also other classmates who no longer tried to catch the topics of their argument, and whispered fearfully among themselves. None of them even dared to film it as they didn't want to take Jaehyun's wrath if he noticed.
