"Jisoo, are you going to rehearsal?" Jaehyun casually asked the girl as the bell for the break rang. He loved to do it, and Jisoo and Haein were well aware of the guy's habit of adjusting the situation for himself in such a way as to piss off a classmate. Jisoo supposed that Jaehyun thought he was immortal if he kept using this stupid way to break her up with her boyfriend.
She looked at his supposedly incomprehensible smirk with displeasure and rose to her feet. Haein, of course, stared at her, eagerly waiting to be told what Jaehyun had to do with it.
"Yes, you go. I'll be right over," she patiently replied, to which Haein abruptly jumped to his feet. Jaehyun didn't say anything and, smiling contentedly under his breath, walked out of the classroom. "I asked him to show me what was taught in Madame Bernard's classes."
"I'm starting to hate this woman with all my heart," Haein muttered viciously, even though he knew that Jisoo wouldn't be Jisoo if she would come to class unprepared.
"Everything will be fine. It won't be long." The girl smiled at him tenderly and took his hands until they clenched into a fist, in their favorite habit. "He will just show me the moves and leave. You better tell me what the coach said. I'm already prepared to come to your game," she chuckled, wanting to quickly change the subject.
"I'll still sit on the bench," he shrugged, not feeling the necessary enthusiasm, even though he planned to spend the whole evening in intensive training.
Basketball helped him to restrain his aggression and not think about the noona. And as much as he didn't want to tell Jisoo to hold off on rehearsals since her body had become very weak these days, he knew she also needed ballet to forget her gloomy thoughts.
"Anyway, you're the best for me," Jisoo said playfully, and if there weren't classmates in the room, she wouldn't hesitate to kiss Haein.
She was very grateful to him for trying to understand her and trying to keep himself under control. Jisoo saw how the guy was changing for her, and now, when there was no one important left in her life except her daughter, Haein became for her the whole world, whom she wanted to give all of herself without a trace.
Haein was embarrassed by her words and felt his cheeks blush. He lowered his eyes, feeling the ears light up, and bit his lips, rejoicing in the praise like a child. Nobody, except for his grandmother, ever praised him, so it was unusually pleasant for him to hear such support from his beloved girl. The guy himself did not care about classmates, so he grabbed Jisoo by the waist and lifted her off the floor, circling in the air and enjoying her loud laugh.
Promising to visit the girl during her rehearsal, Haein headed toward the gym. The coach appointed an enhanced workout for today, asking his team for lessons, and Haein would not want to miss it at least. But on the way to the gym, he ran into Mingyu, who was walking around in a circle, obviously waiting for Haein. They didn't talk for a few days and Haein completely forgot to warn the guy that he was no longer selling.
"Why aren't you answering my messages?" Mingyu asked nervously, standing in front of the guy, and with all his painful look, he told him that he needed a dose.
"I didn't notice," he grunted coldly in response, not admitting that he had deliberately ignored him. After noona's death, Haein did not want to get involved with addicted people. As much as Mingyu pissed him off, he didn't want to see him kill himself in front of his eyes without even realizing it.
"Okay. Doesn't matter. What do you have? I'll buy anything," he muttered hastily, looking around in the empty hallway. He and Haein had a policy not to hand over stuff in the school building, but Mingyu didn't care too much. He urgently needed something to pop.
