Haein sat in a comfortable chair in the boss's office and greedily puffed on his cigarette as he looked over the paperwork of the shipments he'd received. He first came to Seungjo's office in the early morning and mentally grinned at the irony that he managed after mercilessly pouring various types of alcohol into himself all night, thanks to Jungsuk, to wake up in time.

Haein couldn't admit to himself that he enjoyed doing it. Not selling drugs or collecting goods from suppliers, but paperwork, and negotiations with manufacturers and dealers. He felt both funny and sad at the realization that maybe he could ever go to university and after graduation find a decent job in some company of legal business. Go into sales or become a manager, for example.

"I'm glad you're having fun," said Seungjo, who hurried into the office, looking too shabby for a boss. "Comfortable?" He chuckled as he looked at Haein, who was sitting in his chair. "Get up, punk. Daddy's home," he laughed, because he was in a very good mood.

Haein silently obeyed, holding a cigarette between his lips, and on the move continued to read the report of the batch of heroin received yesterday. Seungjo didn't want to say it out loud, but he was satisfied with how passionate this guy was. While teaching him the intricacies of his work, he did not expect Haein to be so capable and interested in this matter that he was overcome with pride in it. Seungjo would even call his grandmother to compliment her grandson if they weren't in the drug business.

"Tough night?" Haein asked mockingly as he sat down on the armchair in front of the boss's table and leaned back imposingly.

He, in fact, did not care why the man was late, even though they agreed to meet an hour ago. But Haein needed something to distract his attention, because every time he put the documents aside or thought about something other than work, he remembered Jisoo. He didn't want to do it.

"It depends on which way you look at it," the man chuckled ambiguously, lifting the lid of his laptop to check the reports, even though he completely trusted Haein. However, it was necessary to keep the face of the chief. "I have to thank you. This Yoojin sent by your classmate is just a fire in the bed. She was fired because of this story, so you can imagine what a hurricane she gave me yesterday," he laughed, not embarrassed by the details of his intimate life, as he was sincere in his gratitude.

Finding this woman without difficulty, he called her into his office and showed her false documents about what they were doing so that she would stop digging under the son of his deceased friend, whom he generously hired to work for his firm.

He failed to convince Yoojin that their small company was only a supplier of fish and seafood products. And she left with a promise to find the necessary evidence that they were engaged in the sale of drugs and money laundering. Therefore, Seungjo was very surprised when he saw a half-drunk woman when he left the office last night. She accused him of being responsible for her dismissal, and then offered him a drink, unconsciously confessing that he was her type.

"I think the case of Jung Yoojin's investigation can be considered closed," Seungjo concluded, grinning contentedly.

Haein couldn't join his little celebration. Although he was a little happy for the boss, a cheerful boss is better than a boss who screams at him in a trembling, frightened voice, causing only pity. But Haein, in turn, did not get anything good from this prank of Jaehyun. Although it was too early to admit that he had lost his girlfriend, but during the night Haein managed to convince himself that he still could not keep Jisoo's trust. And he was convinced of this last night.

As much as he didn't want the alcohol to completely rob him of his memories, he couldn't stop thinking about what he saw when he came drunk to their apartment, hoping to make attempts to talk to the girl again.
