Chapter 14

Seulgi's POV

I woke up with the sensation that something was tickling my neck. I opened my eyes slowly and looked around. I was in Hyun's room.

I was about to go up when I heard a grumble. I looked at it right away. When I saw Hyun on top of me, my eyes widened slightly. Her face was pressed against my neck, and she was tightly hugging me.

I examined her features. She's sleeping peacefully and appears to be an angel, but when she opens her eyes, she's the polar opposite. She's still an angel, but she has a dagger look on her face and a cold expression.

My Love is truly gorgeous. She shines even when she is sleeping. Her beauty is truly enthralling.

"Don't you know, that staring is rude?" I slightly jumped in surprise when she speaks. Her eyes are still closed, but her brow has raised.

I averted my gaze quickly. She caught me staring, and I'm embarrassed. I swallowed and cleared my throat. "I'm not."

"Tsk. Really?" She huskily said. We just woke up, so her voice is a little raspy.

"Okay, okay, fine. You caught me," I said, hoping to end the conversation.

I was about to let go when she tightened her grip. "Hey Hyun, your hand. I need to wash up"

She ignored me and tightened her grip on my neck. "5 minutes more," she said subtly.

My baby is still drowsy. Last night, we did nothing.

She only softens once, so I'll grant her wish. I stroked her hair to make her sleep.

"I love you, Hyun." I whispered in her ear.

"Hyun, wake up," I said softly, gently patting her back. It's been 20 minutes, and I've been trying to wake her up for a while, but she still doesn't get up she just keeps extending for 5 minutes.

"Hmm," she groaned.

"Wake up, your 5 minutes have already passed, and the Maid was calling us earlier, saying Mom is looking for us," I said softly. The maid had already gone upstairs, telling us that breakfast was ready and that we should come down.

I had told the maid that we would be right there, so I had woken her up earlier. But she didn't want to be awake. I'm also ashamed of Mom, and the food must have been served since we've been here for a while. It's not good to keep waiting.

"Hyun, let's get up. We've been making Mom wait for us, and she's been waiting for us for quite some time," I say again.

She just hummed and didn't move. My phone rang just as I was about to take her hands. It was still clinging to me, making it difficult for me to pick it up.

"Hello?" I didn't notice the caller because I answered it right away. I forgot to turn the silent mode last night, which is why you can hear it when there's a call or text.

I also don't want Hyun to be shocked when my phone rings that's why I answered it right away.

"Hi!" Owh, it's Jennie.

"Oh, Jen why did you call?" I softly asked.

"Nothing much, I just wanted to say hello to you since that last time we encountered didn't go according to our plan. So, how are you baby?" She chuckled.

"I'm good. How about you?"

"I'm fine. Ah, I was wondering if I can invite you again for a dinner? But this time Irene unnie, won't show up." She chuckled.
