Seulgi's POV

I'm currently in the office. I'm late, but more importantly, I can't keep up with Irene.

"Hey! You're late again! You're getting late these days, hmm," snorted Seungwan.

I ignored him and went straight to my desk. He followed me and leans at the door. "Kang Seulgi! I'm talking to you, why dond chu anser meh!" He jokingly said.

I laughed and shook my head. "No, I just woke up really late. What's wrong?" I asked him as I noticed the surroundings were quiet and everyone was focused on their work.

The atmosphere was different today than it had been in the past. No one spoke, and no one approached anyone else's desk. They appear to be very serious, which makes me wonder.

He scratched his head. "Ah, your wife came here." He whispered.

I frowned. "Why did she come here?" I'm curious.

The two women I mentioned earlier who, like you, were gossiping, she heard it; she was so angry, Dude, that's the type of person you don't want to get angry with." He paused to take a breath. He appears to be recalling the earlier incident because he is still terrified.

Just like yesterday, she called me to the office but I didn't go so she went to our department again. I immediately hide under my desk so she didn't see me.

Then lunchtime came and she actually went to our cafeteria to look for me. I immediately speed up the food and choose the other way around.

Unfortunately, Irene caught up with me so here we are, in the elevator. Her face looks like she really wants to kill someone, so I don't have a choice and follow her. I still love my life though.

"I told you, don't bother me or talk to me because I still can't forget what you did." I coldly said. I was about to remove her hands when she tightened her grip on it.

"Remove your hands, Irene. I still need something to do."

I was surprised when she cried and laid her head on my chest. "I-I'm sorry... Please d-don't ignore me, it hurts my heart." I could hardly understand what she said because of her cries.

Her grip became tighter.

"Bear, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to ignore you for d-days. I-I was thinking, okay? Because I realized something. I like you." My eyes widen at what she said. It was as if I was frozen in place and my brain could not process what she said. Is it true?

"Kang Seulgi, I like you." With that my heart explode.
