Grazi's pov
TW: let me know if you find any

As I get closer to Ice's apartment, I'm debating whether I should go in or not.

On one hand, I need somewhere to stay the night.

But on the other, what if I walk in on a huge fight between him and Karen.

Or worse, what if their fucking?!

Nah, they're both smart enough to lock the door in that case.

So I just walk right in.

Ice is standing by the window, looking out on the ruins of the town.

He doesn't react to the door at all.

He looks just the way he did that night at Doc's, leaning towards the wall looking out.

"Hi" I say, but it comes out more like a squeak.

Whatever he's looking at must be really amusing, because he still doesn't even look like he's aware of my presents.

So I walk up next to him and try to see what he's looking at.

"Where do you think everyone will end up when this is all gone?" He asks all of a sudden.

I just shrug, well aware he didn't see it.

"Where will you go?" I look up at him.

He waits for a second, then he looks down at me.

"Who knows"

I walk over to the couch and sit down, so that I can take of my heals.

"Where's Karen?" I ask

Ice sits down next to me.

"Home, probably" his answer is short and stiff, like he doesn't want to talk about it.

But I can't help wanting answers.

"Did you...are you guys...is it...?"

"Over" He finished for me with a slight nod.

My heart starts beating faster.

"Oh...sorry" I mumble.

"You should be" he says, catching me completely of guard.

I stare at him in shock.

"It kinda was your fault"

Now he turns to look at me, but then he starts smiling.

I breath out in relief.

"Jesus Christ Ice, you can't do that to me" I say, hitting him playfully after every word.

He just laughs at me.

"I'm serious, it was" he says.

I cross my arms and put on my most offended look, like if I was a toddler.

"I'm just kidding, it was bound to end soon anyways. You were just what pushed it ove the edge"

And then once more, our eyes meet.

For some reason, I always thought his eyes where blue and, well, icy, but their a deep chocolaty brown.

By this point I'm tired of waiting, so I just lean in.
