Odette is looking up at me with big blue eyes.
She has the same brown spot Riff had.
"I was sure that I would never escape
The story I had written for me" I start singing.
She smiles so I continue.
"I couldn't find a way out
I couldn't see beyond the clouds
That swirled around me
Then one day I opened my eyes
And looked up to find that the sky
Had turned blindingly blue"
I pause. Riff is back, standing next to me.
"And right by my side there was you
Quietly taking your stand" I countinue, looking up at him.
"And you were holding my hand" I sing as he takes my hand.
AN: This part will be messy, but it will make sense if you listen to the song. Maybe. Grazi's sings miss honey's part, and Riff sings Mathilda's part if that helps.
"I believed that I" He sings "I believed" I sing

Then we bout pause and look at each other.
"And one day I opened my eyes" He sings.
"One day I opened my eyes" I repeat.
"And looked up to find that the sky

"You were holding my hand!" I sing back to him.

Changing the end of my story for me" We sing together as I get up and walk up the stairs.
I open the door and there are all of the others.
"You were there as I battled my fears" They all sing.
"I fell and you helped me to stand" I sing back to them.
"When the storm finally cleared" Ice and Velma sings.
"You were there" I sing, while they embrace me in a hug.
"You were still holding my hand" The three of us sing together.
"You were still holding my hand" Everyone sings.
"You kicked down the doors for me" The jet girls sing.
"Kicked down the doors for me" Me and Velma sing, and I let her hold Odette.
"You helped me understand" Velma and Mouthpiece sing to her.
"You helped me understand" I sing to Ice, giving him a hug
"There was another version of me" The jets sing this time.
"You were still holding my hand" We all sing together.
Velma hand over Odette again
"When I grow up" I sing to her, remembering what Anita said.
"You were just there for me" The others sing all together.
"I will be braver" I sing, swirling my little girl around.
"Quietly taking a stand"
"After all"
"Changing the end of my story for me"
Balkan opens the front door, and we all run out into the street and dance around in the rain.
"You were still holding my hand
You were just there for me
Quietly taking a stand
Changing the end of my story for me" We sing, running around and dancing in the rain.
It's now I noticed that Riff us no longer there.
But I just smile, because I know that I still have one last piece of him left.
Odette takes her little hand and places it in my hand, holding onto my thumb.
"You are still holding my hand" I sing softly at her.
Omg, this chapter is so messy, but I love it. I love this song and I thought it would go great with this part of the story. I hope you guys didn't hate it😁
